"Yes, last night." She reiterated, hoping to jog his memory.

Nevertheless, she would remind him if he still could not remember. She would not leave this place until he understood that what he did was a cheap shot. 

Not because he had money, he could easily trample on other people. No, that was not how the world worked. She would not let this injustice shatter her future.

"Don't you remember sending your people to do your dirty work?" She questioned him, believing he had his prints all over her situation.

But his face still appeared confused as he stared at her. His brows knitted in the middle, seemingly in deep thought. Honestly, he looked genuinely perplexed.
