She only nodded her head in response. She agreed with him about not forgetting something as frightening but admittedly exciting as this.
But the last words he said seemed to stick in her mind. She believed she had heard that line before. For some reason, her memory seemed to remember him saying them.
"It looks like a clear sky," Jules commented as she hushed her brain, distracting herself from digging up her past.
As much as she wanted to remember everything that had happened that night, this was not the time. She believed that was not the diversion she needed to stop herself from thinking the plane would crash.
"It is a good night to mingle with the moon and the stars." Damon conformed with her, nodding at the few stars bunching on the northern side.
She could not dispute that. She had always been fascinated with nature. She loved everything that grew on the ground and all the unreachable things that floated around her.
