She looked at the space around her, finding the place posh and luxurious. The lobby alone screamed money, from the brilliant chandeliers to the priceless paintings and decorations littering the immense room.
She would know since she had worked in some of the finest hotels in the city before. She was aware of how these wealthy people value their material possessions.
"Mr. Randell will see you now." The woman at the receptionist informed her with a friendly smile. She even assisted her toward the express elevator that would bring her to the top floor.
Of course, she was surprised. She initially thought that the woman would raise her brow at her and refused to give her the time of day.
But when she said her name, the woman scrambled to her feet and immediately called whoever it was on the other line.
