"Mom, are you awake?" Her son spoke by the door as he entered the room and strode hastily toward her bed.
He was already standing by the side of her bed when she shifted her eyes to him. Then, not a second longer, he was already climbing on the bed.
She was not asleep, but her mind was busy in deep thought. She had been awake even before the sun had made its first appearance.
"Good morning, my baby." Jules greeted her not-so-little son as he crawled to her side.
She slightly yawned and stretched her hands above her head before wrapping them in his son's fast-growing body.
Feeling the slight fleshy muscles in his biceps, she deduced her son might have gained a few pounds from their last trip.
"Where is Dad?" Oliver's eyes roamed around the room, probably looking for his father, who was missing from the room.
