Her son's words echoed in her head like a bad record. It was unsettling. Although the statement came from an unreliable source, it still left a bad taste in her mouth.
What if she opted for divorce? Would Damon fight her for their son's custody? Would he insist that he had a right to their son? Would he use his money and influence to get what he wanted?
"No," Jules mumbled under her breath. "He will not do that." She silently thought inside her head as she watched her son with her husband as they rode King in circles inside the horse round pen.
She wanted to believe that he would not take her son away from her. But, of course, she could not discount the possibility. Maybe she should even prepare for it if ever she decided to file for divorce.
