It had been a fruitful morning.
She guessed that was how she would describe her day. She was not expecting it, but somehow, she had found herself doing things she never thought she would do.
"Oooh!" She gasped as she quickly got out of the cool water, grabbing a towel from the rack to dry herself.
She just had to take a quick shower, feeling like she had to wash off the sticky smell of the horse against her clothes and skin. And, of course, she had to cool her skin after a day out in the open.
She could still feel the sweat clinging to her skin after spending time with Damon's family in the kitchen and finishing their cupcake decorating contest.
"That was fun." Jules had to admit to herself as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.
She did not foresee enjoying interacting with Damon's siblings, but she did. They could be rowdy most of the time, especially when Grandpa Louis came in and joined the fun.
