"I need those documents." He barked on the phone, reminding his assistant about the papers he had requested a few minutes ago.
Damon was not usually this impatient. Or maybe he was, but today was more severe than his norm. He could only guess it had nothing to do with work but more to do with the woman that kept creeping into his mind.
He was a great negotiator. He could charm his investors and clients with just his words. And he could manipulate even his enemies to agree to his terms.
"So, what is wrong with her?" He silently muttered, irritated that he had not heard from her yet. But truthfully, it was barely twenty-four hours since he left her at the hospital.
Still, he believed his offer was more than fair. It was frankly more than generous. Any woman in her right mind would not have second thoughts about agreeing to his proposal.
Therefore, what could be the problem? He could only assume that it was her. Did she want more? Maybe he should add more.
