Chapter 21 - Coevals

A day after the masked ball, all the five kingdom's monarchs convened for an urgent royal court. Thanks to the royal ball venue being central, it had not taken too long for all of them to arrive. King Dante and Queen Irene of the kingdom of Ite were chosen as the preceding monarchs over the court because they were the only ones who could be objective. They reluctantly accepted the position but would have preferred keeping their peaceful little kingdom as far away as possible from this nightmare. However, no matter how they looked at it, the other kingdoms were compromised. The kingdoms of Ranic and Damaro were the plentiffs while Tario the accused. That left Olympia, but their princess was to wed the accused in two week's time. They were really the only ones who could precede over the event.
