My name is Felix Wilczek. I'm a normal teenager- or at least, I was a normal teenager, until a few days ago, when a vampire mugger bit me, which turned me into a vampire.
Now, I do have to mention that my luck hasn't exactly been great even before turning into a vampire.. But I mean, it certainly didn't help, alright?
In fact, I'm pretty sure that in the past few days, my luck has just taken a nosedive. I mean, went from just some random kid with financial and family problems to becoming a pervert, a bully, an undercover vampire cop and a fake fiancé to a vampire girl whose father will probably murder me if he figures out I'm not her actual fiancé.
Now, that amount of crap should technically be enough to fuel five seasons of soap operas, but god for some reason, was like 'Nah, I'mma add some more shit lol.'
At least, I'm assuming that's what he did, because I have no other way to explain my shitty ass luck that puts me in new shitty ass situations every single time…
…Like the one that I'm in right now!
"Felix Wilczek!" Rocky, a teen who looked like he could star in a Netflix high school drama (not because he's good looking or anything, but because he looks waaaay too old to be in highschool.), clapped both his hands as he took a step forward, and I swallowed the saliva in my mouth.
I was now standing on the roof of the school building, along with Rocky, and about a dozen students from various classes surrounding me. They were all part of Trilokas, and they were all gathered on the rooftop to meet me.
"You made it very clear to me last night that you weren't willing, or even considering, to follow our rules.." Rocky explained as he shifted his glance towards the other high schoolers, who instantly shouted loudly in unison.
"Yeah! You disrespected the Trilokas!"
"You need to be taught a lesson, bitch!"
"How dare you talk back to Rocky!"
"I-I thought that this was the student council meeting.."
Now, you might be wondering, how on earth did I get myself into this-
What's that? What the- You already know?
Wha-What do you mean you saw what happened yesterday?
Well, alright geez.. I guess I'll just do a short flashback to this morning I guess..
A few hours ago.
I woke up with a terrible hangover and I clenched my head before immediately heading towards the bathroom to throw up.
"Oh god! Bweh! The horror! Bweh!"
After throwing up literally everything I ate last night, I brushed my teeth and took a shower, after which I went over to my desk and picked up my phone.
"Huh, someone called me last night, and I… answered?" I raised an eyebrow as I stared at the call log with a puzzled look. I clearly didn't remember talking to anyone on the phone last night. But then again, I didn't remember almost anything that happened last night either, so my memory wasn't exactly reliable.
"Oh well, it's probably nothing.." I said to myself before putting on my clothes, and heading downstairs.
I left my house and headed towards Irina's apartment to pick her up. We were pretending to be a couple, after all.
"Hold up, what's this?" I paused in my tracks, my attention caught by something glinting on the ground. Bending down, I spotted a ten-dollar bill, and my eyes lit up with excitement.
Holy shit, free money! I guess this is my lucky day!
I quickly scanned the area, ensuring no one was watching, before picking up the bill and slipping it into my wallet. With a grin, I resumed my walk and reached Irina's apartment just a few minutes later.
"Hey," Irina greeted me with a wave as she stepped out of her apartment, and I returned the gesture.
"You know, walking to school together every day will definitely help sell the idea that we're a couple," Irina remarked as we continued our walk, and I nodded my head in agreement.
Just then, my attention was diverted to the side of the road once more, causing my eyes to widen.
"Wait a minute.." I muttered, veering towards the pavement and kneeling down. A second ten-dollar bill lay there, and I picked it up, my eyebrows knitting in surprise and suspicion as I examined it closely.
"Oh, it's free money!" Irina, who was standing next to me, exclaimed loudly as she pointed at the bill. "I guess it's your lucky day."
"Yeah… Sure…" I nodded my head, but the expression on my face didn't seem to agree.
Two ten dollar bills on a single day? That seemed more suspicious than lucky.
We entered the school, where we were greeted by our classmates with teasing looks, just like Irina had predicted.
But then something else happened..
"Mr. Pink won't be coming to class today!" A boy rushed into the classroom, exclaiming loudly. "We won't have to submit our homework today!"
"Whoo!" Cheers erupted within the classroom, and Darren leaned towards me and whispered, "I guess today's a lucky day, huh?"
My eyes widened in shock and surprise, and I nodded my head with a nervous smile on my face. "Y-Yeah.."
I should've known by then that something was terribly wrong. Perhaps someone's trying to set me up. Or worse, maybe god is trying to use up all my good luck in one go.
But I mean, it's probably not the latter, right?
And right then..
Tap! Tap! Tap!
A student from another class tapped his fist on the doorway, and everyone turned their attention towards him.
"Ehem!" The teenager cleared his throat before asking, "Is Felix Wilczek here?"
Aaaand that's it for the flashback. God fucked me over. You're all caught up now.
"A-Are you sure that I said that? I mean, you could've heard me wrong.." I couldn't help but try to talk myself out of this situation.
I mean, it's most definitely pointless at this point, but it certainly doesn't hurt to try, right? And who knows, maybe god might actually take pity on me and turn my luck aro-
"Oh I think you made your point very clear last night!" Rocky said as he clenched his fist and gritted his teeth, and I gulped down the saliva once again.
Ah, yes. I had forgotten that god actually hates me, and wants to see me suffer, for some reason.
I mean, I can probably take on most of these guys all on my own. But Anthony and Pamela did say that two of the members of Triloka were vampires, like me. Which means that there's a chance that I might get beaten up by one of those two in a one-on-one fight. There's also a chance that I might end up attracting the attention of these two secret vampires for the wrong reasons, which might make it impossible for me to figure out who really are the vampires.
And I definitely didn't want either of those things to happen. So there's no other choice than to try to work things out with the Trilokas.
But how on earth do I do that?
"So, Felix Wilczek!" Rocky's words interrupted my train of thought, and I turned my nervous gaze towards him. "You got anything to say to me?"
Do I? Do I have a plan?
I took a deep breath, and exhaled, before replying confidently, "Yes. As a matter of fact, I do!"
"Oh?" Rocky raised an eyebrow in response, intrigued by my words. "What is it that you've got to say?"
"I, Felix Wilczek.." I paused a few seconds for dramatic effect, before continuing, "... Stand by my words!"
