Ravana stared at Geto with disbelief etched across his face. "How could this be? How did he know the weakness of my cursed technique?" Ravana's thoughts raced as he tried to make sense of the situation.
Geto's voice cut through the tense silence. "If you're wondering why I knew your weakness, it's because of your own popularity."
Ravana's eyes widened as the realization hit him. Myths!!!
before ravana lost his invulnerability.
Geto's thoughts echoed, "I was fortunate that Shiva sent him instead of coming himself. If he had, I would have died." Geto's calculated mind revealed his reasons, "Ravana's myth was very familiar to me due to his connection to Shiva and Vishnu through Rama. That's why I'm acquainted with his abilities, such as Chandrahasa, a sword gifted by Shiva to Ravana. It granted him invulnerability, but he could not harm the innocent with it, or the invulnerability would fade."
Presently, Ravana's eyes snapped open, his mind reeling from the revelations. Geto's cunning had unraveled his weaknesses, and Ravana's rage simmered beneath his wounded exterior.
"I will kill you!" Ravana's voice trembled with anger, his cursed energy surging.
But Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity standing behind Geto, intervened, hurling Ravana to the ground. Blood oozed from Ravana's wounds as he struggled to rise.
"You won't get away with this! Lord Shiva will avenge me," Ravana's voice wavered, a mix of fury and desperation.
Geto's chilling tone cut through the air, "Oh, I'm counting on it. But not today." He revealed a trident covered in talismans, its yellow hue accentuated by red writings. "I've already sealed his Trishula. Even if he awakens, he'll hesitate to cross other pantheons for your sake."
Ravana's faith was shaken, his disbelief evident. "Lies! Lord Shiva would never abandon me!"
A mocking smile danced on Geto's lips. "Would he send a demon to find his son? Or perhaps, he values you less than you thought."
Realization dawned on Ravana, his voice cracking, "He doesn't truly care about me."
As Ravana sank to his knees, broken and defeated, Geto's words continued to pierce the silence. "He used you as a pawn. A scapegoat for his deniability."
Cursed energy surged from Ravana, his determination reignited. "I refuse to die! I won't be a pawn!"
With a ferocious roar, Ravana lunged at Geto, Ganesha intercepting his attack. Cursed energy clashed, the temple crumbling around them, revealing the night sky.
Ganesha roared, charging at Ravana. Geto's cursed spirits joined the fray. "Achilles, use [Thunder Clap]!"
Ravana's strength was immense. He swatted Achilles aside but was overwhelmed by the cursed spirits' onslaught. In a wrong move, he unleashed his cursed energy, which triggered a catastrophic explosion of the spirits.
"And that's checkmate," Geto declared.
The explosion left Ravana wounded, his vision obscured by smoke. Coughing blood, he knelt.
Ganesha's form emerged, bearing down on Ravana. Defiant, Ravana tried to lift Ganesha, taunting him.
"Your parents live on mountains I've lifted, boy," Ravana spat.
But Ganesha's domain, [Svar Loka - Realm of the Divines], surrounded them. Ravana was bound and cut by Ganesha's axe.
"This is the end, Ravana," Geto proclaimed as the realm collapsed.
As Geto reached for Ravana, a hand emerged, punching him, drawing blood. Geto grinned. "You can still pack a punch."
Finally, Geto's foot descended, ending Ravana's tumultuous journey. The chapter closed, leaving behind echoes of power and betrayal in its wake.
