The shock that washed over the faces of the two fearsome beasts, the Inferno Drake and the Shadowfang Warg, was nothing short of palpable.
Their expressions contorted from disdainful superiority to sheer astonishment in the blink of an eye.
The Inferno Drake's fiery eyes widened to the size of dinner plates, its emerald scales shimmering with disbelief.
Its mouth, once poised to belch forth flames, hung agape in stunned silence.
The Shadowfang Warg, known for its ruthless and stealthy demeanor, showed a rare moment of vulnerability.
Its sharp, gleaming fangs were momentarily forgotten, and its predatory gaze turned into one of bewilderment.
Their massive bodies quivered as if struck by an unseen force, their powerful limbs momentarily failing them.
The forest itself seemed to hold its breath in anticipation, as if nature itself was stunned by the impossible sight.
Looking at the shock on the beasts' faces, Su Yen grinned. He had long expected their shock.
Still, he couldn't care less about the beasts, for him, he came back to life from the land of the dead. Now, it was their turn to visit the land of the dead.
"Starlight Blossom Slice - Second Form."
At once, the quiet forest vibrated vehemently, filled with deadly sharpness.
Feeling the deadly sharpness, the two beasts recovered from their initial shock, and both their scales and fur stood straight.
Whoosh!
The Shadowfang Warg, known for its stealthy movements, disappeared from its position, leaving a gust of wind behind.
As for the Inferno Drake, its scales tightened, turning shades of red as it opened its mouth.
Whoosh!
A deep red fireball flew out of its mouth, scorching the area with the temperature rising to another level.
Bang!
But the Inferno Drake still underestimated Su Yen's attack as it stood pridefully still. The deadly starlight blossom strike cut through the raging incoming fireball as if it was cutting through tofu.
With wide eyes, the Inferno Drake saw the strike arrive in front of its eyes.
Howl!
The strike hit its body, sending it into the distance with a miserable cry from its mouth.
Meanwhile, Su Yen didn't let down his guard as he failed to notice the presence of the Shadowfang Warg.
Whoosh!
Right behind Su Yen, a beast appeared, swinging its claw, going for his head.
"One step mortal movement."
Sensing the Shadowfang Warg, Su Yen didn't hesitate to use his movement skill and avoid the deadly strike, appearing ten meters from the Shadowfang Warg.
"Got you!" He exclaimed and struck.
The Shadowfang realized its sneak attack failed to kill its target and quickly tried to retreat into the shadows, only to see tens of starlights in front of its eyes.
Bang!
Howl!
The Shadowfang was hurled into the distance, destroying a couple of ancient trees before coming to a stop.
On its neck, straight down to its chest, was a ghastly sword cut with blood gushing out continuously.
Whoosh!
Meanwhile, the Inferno Drake had regained some of its strength and attacked Su Yen with deadly sharp claws.
Since the attack came too suddenly, Su Yen was unable to successfully avoid it. Seeing this, he welcomed the attack with open arms and retaliated with a deadly sword strike.
Bang! Bang!
Su Yen was sent flying into the distance, crashing into a couple of trees before coming to a stop.
Ah!
He cried in pain, blood gushing out of his mouth, holding his waist. All the bones in his chest had shattered into pieces.
His head was fuzzy, disoriented for a couple of seconds. He shook his head continuously, trying to recover from the dizziness.
Huh! Huh!
He sucked in a cold breath and raised his head to look into the distance. In the distance, the Inferno Drake lay lifelessly at the foot of a massive ancient tree, with its neck severed, and covered in blood.
Howl!
As for the Shadowfang, it was still barely alive, struggling to escape deeper into the forest.
Seeing this, a flash of madness appeared on Su Yen's face. Throwing caution to the air, Su Yen mustered the last bit of strength and attacked the beast.
Bang!
Howl!
The Shadowfang Warg cried its last cry as a deep cut appeared on its head. Deader than dead.
Seeing this, a relieved smile appeared on his face before he fell to his knees his head getting heavier by the second.
He knew what was coming - Death.

[Seven Starlight Blossom Strike has leveled up]
'G-o-o-d....' He thought before falling lifelessly to the ground.
With three lifeless bodies lying on the ground inside the still forest, the wind blew gently with the thick stench of blood permeating the air.
Suddenly, the forest shook vehemently, and the sound of birds and insects escaping echoed throughout the still forest.
In the large area of the battleground, a ten-meter massive ape appeared. Its eyes contained a bit of intelligence far greater than any other beast.
It looked at the two beasts before turning its big eyes to the only human. A frown appeared on its beastly face.
Creak!
Just then, a sound came from Su Yen's area, catching the attention of the ape.
Suddenly, the dead human came back to life, with his hands moving slowly.
Huh!
A grunt came from Su Yen, and he stood up slowly, supporting himself with his sword. The ghastly injuries on his body were healing at a breathtaking speed.
"What are you?" A deep hoarse voice echoed in Su Yen's ear.
Hmm!
Su Yen was surprised by the voice and looked in the direction of the voice.
Though Su Yen was surprised, he had long expected the existence of a Foundation Realm beast in the Dreadshade Forest, but he didn't expect to encounter one so soon.
"I'm human, and I'm here to have a deal with whoever is in charge of the core area," he said calmly after recovering from the death-like state.
"With you alone?" The giant ape said amusedly.
"Yes. If you continue to send your minions to the inner area or the outer area, my clan won't hesitate to exterminate them all."
"What does that have to do with us... We beasts understand the rule of nature... Survival of the fittest. If you kill them, you're stronger than them... But that won't stop me from killing you right now," the ape said casually and waved its hand.
Su Yen didn't know what happened and only found himself unable to move, confined in a closed space before he was squashed into pieces.
"Ants don't have the right to negotiate with us."
Though the giant ape squashed Su Yen like a fly, its big eye was still focused on the mutilated body of Su Yen. And behold, all the shattered bones, muscles, and blood began to come together.
In a couple of seconds, Su Yen's body had recovered whole, without any traces of being attacked at all.
"You are saying?"
