The Blood Whisperer leader was taken by surprise when Su Yen launched a sudden attack. He crashed to the ground, rolling several meters before coming to an abrupt halt.
With a groan, he dusted off his robe and attempted to stand, but Su Yen appeared before him in the blink of an eye.
"Not this time around," muttered the Blood Whisperer, annoyance tainting his voice. Leaning back, he struck with a deadly punch, his fist enveloped in a bloody-red aura.
Bang!
Su Yen's and the Blood Whisperer's fists clashed with tremendous force, producing a deafening explosion. The shockwaves rippled through the Jin mansion, shattering marbles and breaking glass.
Both Su Yen and the Blood Whisperer staggered back a few feet, their expressions filled with solemn determination.
"I must admit, you're quite strong," the Blood Whisperer remarked slowly.
