"You've grown well, Dracs."
Suddenly hearing an unknown but familiar voice, Dracula quickly turned around and searched for the source of the voice.
"Who goes there!?" Dracula yelled while squinting his eyes around the place. He felt like the voice was familiar to him but due to the long amount of time from being away to Jin, Dracula has long forgotten what his voice sounds like, which is why he only felt that it was familiar to him.
"Guess who." The voice whispered playfully. It seems like the wind carried the whisper which is why Dracula managed to hear it despite the low volume of sound.
"I have no time for games. I have a birthday to plan out so if you're not going to show yourself. I might as well go bac-." Before Dracula could finish his threat, an invisible force suddenly grasped his entire body, making him unable to move.
Thankfully, Dracula isn't any normal vampire. There's a reason why he's called the Prince of Darkness and the King of Vampires.
A single amount of resistance is enough to break the hold on him.
"Now you are pissing me off. Show yourself!" Dracula made an angry face as his eyes glowed in red, and all of the sudden, the entire area became intangible, allowing him to see through the lush forest.
As soon as his eyes caught a figure among the trees, Dracula smirked in victory before using his telekinesis to lock the figure from afar.
"Gotcha!" The King of Vampire grinned in excitement as he quickly started approaching the locked figure.
"Now, let's see who you are." The more Dracula approaches the figure, the more his gut tells him that something is wrong.
And that gut was right as when he approached the 'figure' he finally saw that it was just a large log that resembles a human figure.
"What?!" Dracula was flabbergasted. He didn't expect to be tricked like this.
"Boo!" Before he knew it, a shadow loomed over him, a figure creeped up behind him before grabbing both of his shoulders.
"Aaaahh!" Dracula screamed in a very cartoonish way as his tongue went out and wiggled as he screamed.
"Damn Dracs, for being known as one of the strongest monsters to exist you scream like a little girl." The figure behind suddenly said, making Dracula sigh in relief and turn around to face the person who just scared him.
To his surprise, he found himself face to face with a very familiar face. A face that he would never forget even for a thousand years.
"Y-you are...." Dracula pointed his shaky finger towards Jin while stuttering slightly as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
In front of him stood Jin in his devil form. Looking at him with a huge smile on his face.
Dracula stepped back a bit as if he was afraid that he's just seeing things and they aren't real.
"What's wrong? Surprised?" Jin's grinning face said as Dracula rubbed his eyes and seeing that the Jin he's seeing in front of him is real, a huge smile blossomed his face as he didn't hesitate to throw himself towards Jin.
"Jinnnn!" However, Jin isn't into men, so he stepped aside and just let Dracula fly past him and collide with several trees before falling on the ground.
*Boom!*
However does Dracula care about that? Of course not! His mood is so good right now to the point that even if he saw a human walk in his hotel right now, he wouldn't kick them out, he would even welcome them and treat them as if they're part of them.
This is how excited and happy Dracula is right now.
Dracula spit out a few pebbles and dirt from his mouth before standing up and facing Jin.
"Jin! Where were you!? I tried to look for you but I found no trace of you! You didn't change a bit, as I expected. Oooohh, today is my daughter's birthday! She would definitely love me if I introduced you to her!" Dracula started jumping and rambling his mouth.
"Dracs, stop stop stop." Jin raised his hand with his palm facing Dracula before trying to stop him from opening his mouth and talking.
"...It's quite a long story." Jin could only say in excuse as he obviously can't reveal the truth to Dracula. Although they can almost be called best friends as Jin knew Dracula since he was a child. But that doesn't mean Jin trusts him as much as he trusts his women.
"I have all the time in the world!" Dracula spread his arms and didn't hesitate to reply with vigor. He has lived for a thousand year, just a few minutes of speaking and sharing stories with Jin is nothing to him. In fact, he even wanted for their conversation to last for a whole day. However, he's both a father and husband now, which means he has many responsibilies and he can't waste a day just sharing stories with his saviour.
'I knew he would say this. Luckily, I prepared a good enough story.' Jin shook his head before smiling and started recounting what 'happened' to him when he left Dracula.
"You see, when I was...." During the entire time of telling Dracula a made up story of his, Jin saw how immersed and attentive Dracula is towards him.
'What the fuck happened while I was gone?' Jin's eye twitches just by this thought. Who would've thought that his existence would change Dracula's personality so much.
Not only that, another thing that shocked him more was the fact that his wife is alive and well, as if she wasn't supposed to die like how it happened in the original story.
'This must be what they call The Butterfly Effect. How scary.' Jin shuddered just by this thought. He even thinks that if he has a time traveler enemy who went back in the past where Jin didn't meet God yet and killed him. Just this thought alone is enough to make Jin worry about the time and time travelers.
'Right now, I obviously can't mess with people who have time powers. Especially those who can travel in time.' Jin whispered to himself in caution. Making sure to put this advice in the back of his head just in case he grows crazy and challenges everyone in the multiverse.
'I should definitely watch myself.' Jin made a note to himself before going back to filling Dracula's head with made up stories.
***
While Jin and Dracula were finally having their long awaited reunion, Mavis was having the best time of her life!
The more she stays with Tigress and Rapunzel, the more she realizes that she must not let both of them go! This is her only chance to make permanent true friends! Someone she could lean on whenever she needs comfort and help.
Obviously, that is supposed to be her parent's responsibility however, she is just similar to those teenagers who can't disclose their secrets to their parents due to either embarrassment or afraid of being scolded, this is the reason why teens mostly vents their frustration on their friends as unlike the parents, they could fully open up with their friends without being scolded or embarrassed.
Just as Mavis was busy talking to them, her mother Martha suddenly approached her.
Mavis, noticing her mother's presence behind her back, couldn't help but get excited as she wanted to introduce her new and true friends to her mother.
"Mom, look! These are my friends. Mom, this is Rapunzel and Tigress." Mavis didn't even wait for her mother to explain the reason why she's here before Mavis suddenly grabbed her arm and dragged her to Tigress and Rapunzel, who looked at Martha with amused expressions in their faces. She then proceeded to introduce her friends first to her mother.
"Tigress, Rapunzel. This is my mom." Mavis finished as Tigress quickly followed up and responded
"Hello there. It's nice to meet you." Tigress gave her a slight nod as Martha looked at her with appreciation before replying.
"Likewise, child." Martha smiled and said. Though she failed to notice the irritable look on Tigress's face, as if she wanted to gnaw on her face as if she wanted to kill Martha on the spot.
If it wasn't for Jin holding her back from going out of control, Tigress might have long snapped and followed her only instinct.
"Hi. You look just as beautiful as Mavis. It's so nice to finally meet you!"
"Thank you for that. I really appreciate it." Martha smiled softly and said. Well, who wouldn't like to be complimented especially since her daughter is indeed beautiful and probably even more beautiful than her. And now being called as beautiful as her makes Martha's dead heart throb slightly.
"Mavis. I haven't seen your father after he went outside. We have too many guests this year so I can't go outside myself, so I advise you to go outside and fetch your father back here, okay?" Martha smiled creepily as she spoke each word. She just can't believe that Dracula would all of the sudden disappear from people's eyes. After all, almost half of the monsters that booked a room in his hotel are just fans who want to meet him in person.
"O-okay. I'll be on it." This time, Mavis felt scared of her mother. So, after she relayed the message to Tigress and Rapunzel so she could give a reasonable reason to go outside and start looking for her father.
"Thank you dear." Martha quickly turned back to her warm and calm expression as if she wasn't staring at the void with cold eyes earlier.
