Chapter 70 - Ch. 68 - Demonic Energy

Back to the battle, Tigress had a bad premonition the moment she laid her eyes upon the purple trident. Several markings were engraved into its shaft, its language is something that she doesn't have any knowledge of.

'I'm now certain that this is a devil!' Tigress finally had enough evidence in her sight to prove that she's not facing a normal being, but a supernatural being called a devil. Before coming here, she was also warned about Devils, Angels, and the so-called Heroes of Justices from Jin.

However, just because the Devils are the personification of evil itself, that doesn't mean the Angels are the personification of kindness. Because Angels and Heroes of Justice only follows one man and that is God and since God is always unavailable to talk to, they would follow the order of Archangel Michael, God's rumored favourite Angel.

Now, why are they not the personification of kindness, you may ask? That's because they would only serve justice as they see fit. Which means the justice that the angels have are only based on their own perspective.

For example, if they saw a person accidentally killing someone to defend himself, the Angels and Heroes of Justice would instead give punishment to the killer who was only defending himself from harm.

Back to the battle, Tigress just got in her stance when the Devil suddenly flashed before her, slashing his ominous trident towards her chest.

'Dammit!' Knowing that she can't dodge the slash, Tigress could only helplessly watch as the trident's sharp edges were nearing her chest.

Just as Tigress waited for the pain, Tigress only felt the best of cold air, flashing by her side.

'Huh?' Vexed, Tigress opened her eyes just to see a large ice wall shielding her from the trident.

"Tigress!" Elsa called out to her as her arms were outstretched and cold mist were smoking out of her palms.

"Elsa!" Tigress sighed in relief after seeing her. She felt like she was on the verge of death and even though she wanted to experience it, that doesn't mean she wanted to kill herself.

"I got your back!" Elsa assured her however, the devil behind the ice wall simply punched the ice wall out of existence.

*Bam!*

*Crash!*

"Wonderful, a beast and....." The Devil was about to say the word 'sorcerer' when he suddenly started sniffing in the air.

*Sniff!*

"Hmm....I smell a spirit on you, little girl. Are you perhaps, the last 5th spirit? Looks like it is my lucky day, I will finally be able to capture an Elemental spirit!" The Devil yelled in excitement as his grip on his purple trident tightened.

"Back away, Elsa. Don't let him get close to you." Tigress went into her Tiger Stance and warned Elsa, who nodded her head seriously and stepped back a few steps. This time, it is a serious fight unlike when they fought Jin. In this battle, there's a chance that they would die if they make terrible decisions or make a mistake.

'Jin where are you?' Tigress hoped in her heart as she knew that this fight is not something that she could handle by herself. At the same time, this is a good opportunity to get strong so she's both hoping that Jin would save her while at the same time, she wants Jin to delay a few more minutes so she could fight the Devil in her full strength.

"Is that fear, that I am smelling?" The Devil pointed his trident towards Tigress and Elsa.

"As much as I hate the smell of fear as it reminds me of that useless wolf, but if it's coming from a beast, then I have no complaints." The Devil grinned and said, dropping a slight information about a certain wolf.

The Devil then flashed out of existence, making Tigress widen her eyes and quickly turned around to warn Elsa.

"Els-!" However, it was already too late, the Devil is already standing in front of Elsa, his trident slowly inching towards Elsa's neck, ready to decapitate her.

Elsa's reaction was also delayed as she's only human, after all. Her reaction isn't like that as Tigress, so her brain is still registering that the Devil is in front of her.

*Clang!*

Just as Tigress wanted to close her eyes as she can't bear to see Elsa get sliced by the trident when they suddenly heard a clanking of chains.

The Devil's ears perked up as he suddenly sensed a danger from his current position. So, he abandoned his assault and quickly backed away just in time for two red and sharp blades to slice the air in front of Elsa and smashed on the ground, throwing Elsa off balance.

"Who is it?" The devil quickly stared at the dust that slowly settled in.

*Clank!*

As soon as the cloud of dust faded away, it finally revealed Jin's Devil Form menacingly staring at the Devil as his eyes were glowing red. On his arms were Elsa who had fallen unconscious.

"A mere pest dares to touch my women." Devil Jin's deep and creepy voice irked Tigress and Olaf as they felt a shudder on their spine.

Meanwhile, Tigress sighed in relief as her body flops down on the ground, she felt extremely exhausted from the small fight that she had. She also realized just how far her strength is from the true fighters in the multiverse.

"An Angel? No...you're a hybrid." The Devil once again sniffed the air as he watched Jin cautiously. Sure he didn't expect to meet a beast and the 5th element but this is a different thing as it is impossible for a hybrid to land in this world. After all, hybrids are already extinct.

"I could smell both the scent of an Angel and a Devil on you. I can't tell if you're a devil hybrid or something." The Devil said in confusion, after all, but referring as hybrid, what he actually means is a half devil and half other species such as human or elf. This is actually the first time he saw a same Devil like him but has the scent of an Angel, which made the Devil arrive at a conclusion that Jin is a hybrid of a Devil and an Angel.

"I answer to no one. But If you want to know the answer then you could do so after you meet death." Devil Jin used his chi to make Elsa's body float and guide her towards Tigress before taking both of his Blades of Havoc spun them by his sides, acting similar to a certain bull.

"Death? That's a first, every foe that I fought has already met her, except for me!" The Devil answered before his muscles contracted and assumed a throwing stance.

Seeing that the Devil is planning to throw his trident, Jin decides to be ahead of him and throws both of his Blades of Havoc towards the Devil.

"Humf." The Devil simply released a deep breath before ignoring the blades that are coming towards him and instead, focused on his current goal, which is to strike Jin right to his heart. Although he was curious about Jin and wanted to know more about him and his hybrid kind, however he also knows how dangerous Jin's existence is and if possible, he must kill him as soon as possible before his situation gets worse.

*Clang!*

Just as the Blades of Havoc were already near him, The Devil finally threw his Trident that immediately turned into a blur and it didn't even take a single second before it reappeared in the middle of their battle field. Right as the trident appears back, it suddenly convulses and makes two more Tridents using its own body, ignoring the Blades of Havoc that are already in front of the Devil.

Now, it's only a matter of whose weapon gets to their opponent first.

*Scheullk!*

Unfortunately for the Devil, Jin's Blades of Havoc arrived first and pierced through the Devil's chest, before the blades stopped and got stuck in the middle of the Devil's chest.

But the Devil's face seemed to feel nothing and just grinned madly as Jin tried to dodge the trident but it was already too late and the trident pierced through his chest, causing a lot of blood to drop from the hole on his chest.

*Boom!*

The trident then landed on the ground behind him, destroying everything in its path in the process.

Blood dripped from Jin's lips, making Tigress yelp in shock and was about to run to help him when Jin gave her a look that tells her to not move from her position.

"How does it feel? It's a miracle you're still standing straight after that, after all, everyone who touched my trident never lived to see the sun. Unfortunately for you, you're too careless to let my trident pierce you." The Devil commented as he was about to remove the Blades of Havoc in his chest when Jin suddenly responded to him.

"Careless? It's all according to my plan." Jin said with a wide smirk as his grip on his chains tightened and before the Devil could register the meaning behind his words, red aura smoothly glowed around the Blades of Havoc in his chest, making the Devil feel a slight chill as red lines started appearing on his body that seems to be flowing towards the Blades.

The said red aura then started travelling through the chains and arrived in Jin's forearms.

The red aura then started seeping into his arms, seeming as if the red aura was being absorbed by him.

At the same time, red lines appeared on the large hole in Jin's chest and started flowing around smoothly.

At the same time, under everyone's shocked eyes, the large hole in Jin's chest that could kill almost anyone, started closing up and healing back to its previous look.
