It was a new dawn. The sun's shining glare brightened the skies and woke the world up.
Inside Han Li's humble abode. He was deep in sleep with his mother lying on top of him.
She was rather fitting for him to hug tightly above him. She was just the perfect size. Han Li woke up and felt a small weight on top of him. It was his mother.
"You woke up earlier than me again…" Han Li said, slightly groggy from sleep.
He wasn't one to sleep deeply, usually, he slept while being on alert and that was his habit.
But after coming back in time, he was relaxed. Especially in his mother's presence.
So, he ended up having somewhat of a deep sleep these days.
"Yeah, I woke up way earlier than you." Yue Li looked at his face and said with a morning smile. "I set up tea, breakfast, and even snacks already."
Han Li hugged her a bit tighter. "You came and slept on top of me after doing all that?"
