As the dust settled, Ren walked over to the battered orc with Luna. Moku lay there, severely wounded but still alive, and Nevare was crying out loud beside him. Moku's E+ rank sword that he was carrying and even his armor had been destroyed by that punch.
Seeing Ren approach, Nevare got in front of Moku and tried to block Ren from getting closer, even though she knew she was no match for him. Still, she gave Ren a death glare, as if she would eat him alive if he got any closer.
"Stop!!! Don't come near him, or… or, it won't end well for you," Nevare shouted at the top of her lungs. Her bravery was too much for her own good.
She is like a true female warrior, not like today's feminists, who just hide behind other men's protection, use the weapons other men created to threaten other men but still say there is no need for men, and they are better, stronger, and smarter than men.
"Cough!!! Cough!!! Nevare, let him in," Moku said weakly from the back while coughing some blood.
"B-But.. B-but!!!" Nevare wanted to complain, but seeing Moku's serious face, she stopped herself and let Ren in. While Luna just stayed in the back.
"Hahahaha!! You truly are an interesting guy, Moku. You even managed to survive that attack. I am truly impressed. Anyway, I am happy that you survived," Ren said calmly as he sat beside him comfortably. Moku didn't say anything, as somehow he felt mocked, since he was the one that suggested this fight in the first place, thinking he might put up a good fight, but now he lost this miserably by just one punch.
As a Level 10 climber and at the same time peak in both strength and stamina, it was unrealistic for him to lose this easily.
"So, Moku, now that I am the winner, you need to do whatever I say, right?" Ren asked as a devil-like smile appeared on his face. Moku weakly nodded his head, since he was badly wounded; he doesn't wish to speak too much and make this already serious condition more serious.
Ren is quite familiar with Orc lifestyle. While Orcs are renowned for their warrior mentality, they're also fiercely loyal, albeit a bit simple-minded. They love to fight, and to make their fight more interesting, they'll gladly grant the winner whatever they want after the battle, even if it means giving up their own life – that's just how they are.
"I heard Orcs offer anything to the other party that wins against them, even if it's their life… Right?" Ren asked, still maintaining his devil-like smile. Moku nodded his head, righting Ren's question; there wasn't even a hint of hesitation on his face.
"Ohh, so you don't care about your life huh??? Then what if I want your wife? She is quite the beauty and has a strong mentality. What do you say? Will you give her to me if I wanted?" Ren asked with a perverted smile on his face.
Now Nevare was intentionally giving Ren a death glare and released some of her killing intent, but Ren completely ignored her and waited to see Moku's reaction.
"F*ck you!!… you bastard…. Even if I have to give…Cough… my life, I won't let anything happen to her," Moku cursed out loud while coughing some blood.
"Hahaha, I guess I was right; you truly are a unique orc, Moku. Become my subordinate," Ren offered with a genuine smile while extending his hand to him.
Now everyone was in complete shock by this sudden change of attitude from Ren. Although Luna knew all along Ren was just acting, she didn't want to ruin his hard work, so she stopped herself from doing something stupid.
To be honest, Ren wasn't really interested in someone else's wife; he just wanted to see Moku's reaction, as growing up with a father who allowed his wife to sleep with other men, so he could do his drugs, he felt completely disgusted at those who would abandon their wife or loved ones to gain something.
So he might have really killed him if he really agreed with his suggestion, even though he was 50% sure Moku wouldn't agree, since he thought Moku is different from other orcs.
As much as he knows, Orcs don't actually love their partners; they just see them as baby-making factories and sometimes even put their partner as the winning prize for their fight. So he was also a bit unsure that Moku might be the same as other Orcs. But it seems he is not only different-looking but also different-minded from other orcs and in a good way.
Moku was now dumbfounded; just now, in order to protect Nevare, he was thinking about burning his life essence to fight Ren to death. But now there was no need for that, as Ren now wanted him to be his subordinate, not his wife. He was a bit hesitant, as how can he be the emperor of his future empire if he becomes someone else's subordinate.
Seeing his hesitation, Ren just smirked, "Well, you don't have much time; if you don't accept now, you will die because of extreme blood loss. Then something might happen to your wife, you know, as I am not going to save her from the monsters here."
"And if you agree to be my subordinate, I will heal you, and both of you can be together then," Ren offered like this was the only option they have.
Moku immediately extended his hand towards him, as he realized that his wife was more important than his silly little dream.
"Perfect choice," Ren muttered and added, "Awaken!"
Suddenly, a huge amount of Chaos energy started to flow towards Moku's body. And both Moku and Nevare were again shocked, as just now they thought there is no need to worry; the problem has been solved. But now Ren just used the same type of energy that he used during his last punch.
Nevare couldn't take it anymore and tried to push Ren away from her husband. But Luna stopped her from doing so.
"Don't worry; master is trying to heal him. if luck is on his side, he will be saved. And if it doesn't, he will die. He would have died anyway, so it's worth the try," Luna explained to Nevare in a cold tone.
This made Nevare more angry and cursed at the top of her lungs. "Fuck you!!!! If something happens to my husband, even if I have to become a ghost, I will hunt both of you down!!"
But both Luna and Ren ignored her. To them, she was like some ant. And if some ant continuously curses a man, would that man care? So it's best to just ignore it.
