Hiro could palpably feel their emotions and he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by their support. The buzzing crowd overwhelmed him and he froze in his place.
The announcer had been making his entrance even more dramatic, exaggerating the compliments. Hiro, however, remained put in his place, unable to move.
It took him a while to snap back to reality.
