While the starting players took their time to enter the field, Hiro made himself comfortable on the bench. It would be a while before he could step inside the field.
Leaning against the seat, Hiro looked above. He could vividly see the ceiling, the blinding lights illuminating the stadium.
He swept his glance toward the opposing box. He could spot a few familiar faces. Most of them had a quite large frame. Hiro had expected it before. Even so, seeing them in person, Hiro couldn't help but marvel at them.
"Benjamin Henrich, why is he benched?" Hiro's brows raised.
He couldn't help but ponder why an in-form starting player was benched. He hadn't heard of any injury report about him, making it even more difficult to understand.
Without even realizing it, he had been staring intently at him.
Just as he was staring at him, Benjamin turned to look in his direction. Their gazes intertwined, and Hiro immediately felt his senses tingle.
