7 years later..
"Mommy! Mommy! Can you tell us that story again?!" A young 5 year old girl with wavy black hair cascading down her back asked her mother with her younger brother who had dark brown hair like their mother as she was finishing folding the laundry.
The girl was Amelia Rayna Collins, she had her father's wavy black hair and her mother's sky blue eyes (thankfully none of her children had inherited her other eye). She was a lot like her father in personality and yet still a cheerful girl. She was a daddy's girl as she kept on tackling him when he came back from work.
Her brother, Adrian Samuel Collins was a 4 year old who had his mom's brown hair and his father's emerald eyes. He had inherited Annalissa's brain and quiet personality and had always stick to his sister or mother when confronted with strangers. He had always came to his mom when he had problems with anything.
Their mother smiled at them as they all but jumped her with their presence as they had finished their bath respectively from her kneeling position in the living room. Their mother was none other than Annalissa Eliyasveil Collins née Winters who was still beautiful in her 26 years of age. Her appearance hadn't changed much only with the more mature look and air she has around her now.
She had learned many ways to express her emotions in the 7 years she had with Xavier. Her company still running but she was required less unless it was very important, other than that, she had signed all her paperwork at home. 19 year old Alec helps out once in awhile but she pitted him to focus on Sheila his girlfriend and his school life right now while he can. From what she heard he was one of the popular students in school along with Sheila.
"Honey I'm home!" She heard her husband's voice hollered down the hallway as he came in the living room and swipe a kiss on her cheek while loosening his tie, causing the kids to make faces. He laughed them off as he ruffled their hair. "Daddy!" Was their indignant response as they huffed. They started to ask to him about his day as she finished folding the last of their laundry and placed them in the basket beside her.
28 year old Xavier James Collins was more mature and cheerful than ever possible with his good looks with only with a few wrinkles on his face. He was now working as a lawyer who was popular with his honestly and not easily influenced attitude, making many demands for him. Though that, he had spared his work and home life different so he wouldn't neglect his family. He still remembered how scandalized his boss and a few trusted friends was when he told them he was a street fighter before and his wife was probably one of the underworld's most influential people. He had never laughed so hard in his life. They had bought a cozy home near the mansion for themselves before their wedding.
The two children had diverted their attention towards Annalissa and was insistent on telling them the story. "Come on Mommy, pleeeeease?" They poured up at her as she laughed at their puppy eyes which she suspects getting lessons from Alec. Xavier had cracked a smile at this.
"Alright! Now settle down first children." She said in a mock scolding tone as the hurried and sat down in front of her while Xavier settle on sitting by her side, intent in hearing the story they often told their children as well.
"Once upon a time, the Streetfighter and the Gang Lord met under a peculiar night.."
Yes, Xavier thought fondly as he lost himself in the memories as Annalissa spurred the story of their lives. I can live with this forever..
The end
