All Henry could do was watch as the clock ticked seconds away from the time of 3 o'clock where the demolition was scheduled.
"Alright! It's time guys! All who came to observe Please back away from the line!"
Henry gritted his teeth as the wrecking ball swung back and destroyed the entrance. The next thing he heard was a familiar voice screamed. "Lisa!"
Everyone froze as the workers all ran and checked the source of the sound. They were confused as they were told that this place was abandoned for a decade. They finally found what or dare they say who it was. It was Annalissa who was unconscious with Alec in her arms as they lay next to the pile of rubble that they assumed was going to fall on them.
Almost immediately, they call an ambulance and was rushed towards the hospital. Henry ran forth, claiming to know them and hitched a ride in the ambulance.
As Annalissa had gone to the ER seeing that her head was bleeding again, Henry was with Alec as he was check up by another doctor. He had called Nathaniel about Annalissa and Alec as he reassured him of their safety. Who knew he could be overprotective? The members of the Cross Heart gang went back seeing as they found the two after they sent their regards. Now they were in the hospital room for Annalissa after several hours of operation.
"This is a serious but not life threatening. She suffer from a hard blow to the head causing a concussion in her head so we had a hard time draining the swelling and a swollen ankle and a broken wrist. We Don't even know how long was she conscious with that concussion. We expect she's wake up around a day or two. " the doctor explained looking at the charts in his hands.
"Thanks doctor." Henry said as the doctor gave a swift nod and left. He turned and looked into the room where an unconscious Annalissa lay on the hospital bed while Alec held her hand that wasn't attached to wires in his with a worried expression on his face.
Damn. The wounds are the worst so far. Henry thought. She told me she has some business to attend to in two days too.
Well, all he could hope was Annalissa would wake up intact.

Two days later, End of March.
Annalissa woke up to a white ceiling as the room was dark. Her mismatched eyes looked around the room as her eyes landed on Alec and some of her gang members sleeping in the room. Her eyes softened slightly at the sight but she looked around to see anything else. From the window, she saw it was night out as she wondered how long was she asleep..
"You've been asleep for two days straight. " her neck snapped towards the voice only to have her cringe at the sudden move. It was Nathaniel Haynes there with a slight frown on his face. "There was a call from an unfamiliar number though. He said that he'll handle the 'company ' until you're better."
Annalissa only sighed as she ruffled a hand through her brown locks. She had not planned being kidnapped and end up being in the hospital. Being found by the locals here.. Not to mention having her uncle receive a call for her.. or any members in her gang that is.
"Mind telling what's this 'company'? " he spoke. She just looked up at his eyes and frowned softly. "It's not your call. " Nathaniel was shock at her glare but just shook his head. I guess there's still secrets with her.. he thought sadly.
He soon left after telling her he had business to attend to and wish her luck. Annalissa just stared blankly at the wall before her and sighed again.
"Guess I have to train again soon. And a pile of paperwork too.." she looked down at her bandaged arm and sighed for the nth time. She lay back on the bed knowing that the doctors would do those checkups tomorrow so she sleep, but it was a place clouded with horror instead of dreams..

Annalissa was 12 at the time when she was finally finished with her hand to hand, hand to weapon and weapons training. She had her red eye covered with the eye patch Milliana gave her a year ago as she walked back from the primary school Alejandro sent her to. Alec was off playing with Maria as they were both 5 then and was in the care of Milliana.
"Anna! Over here!" it was a familiar voice that called her. Her eyes were still cold and uninviting but that didn't stop that person from pushing her beliefs. That person was the one and only Daphne Black. "I'm so glad to see you! How was school?"
Annalissa had scowled at her bubbly behavior and ignored her completely, walking past her towards her room on the 4th floor that Alejandro somehow gave her, the entire floor. It was the one kid that came back with her that replied. "She made another kid cry. And got into fights."
The one that spoke was Rowe Jefferson, the boy at 14 who was a close relative to Alejandro and Daphne. Daphne was almost 4 years older than her. Yet them both seemed more mature than her.
"Rowe! You shouldn't butt in in people's conversation! " She exclaimed. Annalissa just rolled her eyes and left them but they had followed her which irked her a little.
Luckily, Zachary and Susan had came and took the bubbly girl home. It was now Rowe and Annalissa left as they sat on the sofa opposed to each other with Annalissa reading a book and Rowe watching TV.
"You know she'll never give up until you open up right?" Annalissa had not replied as she took a neutral expression. "I wonder how that woman gets her energy around you.." he murmured as he watch an anime called Bleach.
"She best give up. " was her reply as she resumed reading. She was somehow addicted to mystery/fantasy/romance novels. She was then reading the hunter's chronicles.
Rowe had been quiet as he shot glances towards Annalissa in worry. "If she managed to open that closed heart of yours, what'll happen? "
He received no reply as she suddenly snapped her book shut with one hand and stood up. Sending a last glare, she left with the parting words "If that's so, then I shall prevent it. For all that I care for will perish."
It was then left with a dumbfounded Rowe. That's how the three had their haywire relationship started to go straight for the first time.
