God, oh God! You are the girlfriend, right?
Eddison believes the person speaking behind her voice is undoubtedly blonde. If she had to speculate, she would say that it is Luca's most recent victory. To speak with the voice, she turns her back on the pancakes she is frying.
"I live with you." Eddison puts it plainly. Both women turn to face the front door when they hear the sound of keys being turned. "That.." she says as the door swings wide, "is the girlfriend." Edd immediately recognizes who it is.
With her fancy purse slung over her shoulder, Kate Vanderbeek walks into the compact Boston townhouse. Eddie is now accustomed to Kate.
Pancakes for breakfast, Kate?
"No thanks, Eddie." Kate turns to face Eddie again after giving the blonde a thorough once-over. Saying "Don't tell me..."
Kate yells loudly after Eddie's "Yup" response is met with an eye roll.
Lucca Morreti: Right away, get the hell out of here.
Luca Moretti, a six-foot-two, black-haired, shirtless Italian deity, enters the kitchen at Kate's order. In preparation for her morning amusement, Eddie flips a pancake onto her plate and sits at the kitchen island. This is actually the fourth time this week.
"Hey, Babe." Luca declares encircling Kate's waist with his arms.
She flings her fancy handbag at him as she pushes him away.
Don't 'babe' me, please! Again? Seriously, Luca? You made a commitment!"
Eddie turns to the blonde who is squatting next to her as the screaming continues.
She asks, "So, what's your name?"
"Bunny." Eddie rolls her eyes once more in response to the blonde's giggle.
Naturally, it is.
After a little more than two years of living together, Eddie and Luca are now entering their respective junior years of college. Before moving in together, they had just exchanged emails, so they were both taken aback by their roommate, but they have adjusted to it. Because of her name, Luca initially believed Eddie to be a man, therefore she was delighted to learn otherwise. Eddie is really gorgeous in Luca's eyes, but she doesn't seem to notice as she continues to wander the apartment in her underwear, so Luca spends a lot of time taking cold showers.
Eddie is very drawn to Luca, but she made it plain right on that she didn't want to be simply another conquest, despite his strong attraction to her. She is in Boston for college, and her goal is to graduate, obtain her degree, and then move out. No man is going to stand in her way.

The townhouse where the two reside is owned by Luca's parents, and although though he didn't need a roommate, Luca utilized Eddie's rent payment and the money she earned working over the summers as party funds. Although initially opposed to the idea of Luca having a female roommate, Mr. and Mrs. Morreti fell in love with Eddie after meeting her. Eddie always thought it was ironic that Luca's parents were concerned about her in light of the daily trail of women that emerged from his bed.
Eddie moves to answer the phone as the sound of the landline phone ringing calms the argument.
"Hello, Eddison speaking."
"Edison, sweetheart, how are you?" The loud Italian accent of Mrs Morreti instantly makes her day better.
"Good day, Mrs. Morreti." How are you? I'm good.
Eddie chuckles at Luca, who is shoving Kate and Bunny out of the townhouse when he hears his mother's name. She controls her laughing so as not to annoy Mrs. Morreti.
"Dante and I are missing our infant son and considering paying a visit,"
"A visit sounds lovely; I have no doubt that Luca will be delighted.
Do you want to speak with him? Eddie presents. Luca, who returned to the house without his fan club, is signaling to Eddie not to give him the phone by waving at her. Luca keeps mouthing, "No! No!" while he says, "I think he is somewhere around here." Eddie says, "Here he is! " but ignores him. "Luciano, it's your mother!" Eddie replies as he cheerfully hands him the phone.
Luca makes it plain that he would pay her back for this later by running his finger along his neck. Eddie scoffs and returns to her pancakes while Luca calls out to his mother, "Mama! How are things going?" What's going on?
You excellent boy, right? I'm talking Italian. Luca struggles to pay attention to his mother since he is fixated with Eddie. Although he would have never wanted to tell her, he found it difficult to look at her. He observes as she shovels the last of the pancake into her mouth and licks her bottom lip with her tongue. He will require even another chilly shower! He observes her placing her plate in the sink. One of Luca's t-shirts and her pajamas, which Eddie is currently donning, are her nightgown. She looks stunning in his clothing, which he adores.
The t-shirt is just long enough to cover her delicate area, but since she isn't wearing a bra, her chest is completely bare.
Eddie gives him a signal that she is going to change before giving him a cheek kiss and entering her room. He looks back at his mother after watching her hips sway as she vanishes.
"We're coming tonight, son, and I'm bringing lasagne."
"Okay, mum sounds great."
"Italian!"
"Va bene! Ci vediamo stasera mama."
"Goodbye, my handsome boy.
I put the phone down. Luca enters Eddie's bedroom without stopping.
"Ma and Pa are coming over for dinner tonight." She pulls on her jeans as he speaks while seated on her bed. As he speaks, he turns his head away to avoid catching a glimpse of her stunning body. Ma reportedly planned to deliver lasagna.
"Oh delicious! How did you quickly remove Kate and Bunny from this place?
"Bunny? Was her name really that serious? Luca gives himself a mental pat on the back for hitting someone with a woodland animal name.
"She informed me about that. How can you locate these women?
"This baby is everything," Luca grinned and gestured to his bare chest.
Eddie finds that she spends too much time gazing. Before grabbing a sweatshirt to pull over her bra, she instructs herself to turn her head away.
She also understood that it was merely a one-night stand.
A: "And Kate?"
"Ha! Kate is simple! She is eating out of my hand because I promised to buy her lunch and some jewelry. On the nights when I don't get anyone else, I have Kate. Having a backup plan is an excellent idea.
Luke, that is sick.
"You love me, Eddie." Eddie catches a pillow that is thrown at her by Luca and violently throws it back in his direction. "Do you still remember what you said to me last Christmas?"
"What did I just say?"
"Oh, you're right, you must have been intoxicated."
"That is you, Luke; I don't drink. Remember that you're the lightweight?
"I'm from Italy. Italians are adept at handling booze.
You must be the first Italian in the world to pass out after just one round of shots, I thought.
"It was a little absinthe!"
"Refusals, refusals. Anyway, aside from watching me get ready, why are you here?
Are you in need of a ride to campus?
She gets up to check Eddie's phone when it buzzes on the nightstand.
THEODORE COLLINS 9.03am: I'm outside. Mlady, your chariot is here.
Jenkins, ahoy! I'm speaking with you. Luca replies while gesturing with his palm at Eddie's face. Do you require a lift? Simply get dressed, and we can leave.
"No, everything is OK. I'm being picked up by a pal.
"Are you coming home for dinner?"
"Yup." Eddie explains by popping the 'p'. She quickly exits the townhouse while slinging her bag over her shoulder. She had waited long enough for Luca Morreti, "Bye Luke!"
She boards the passenger side of a pickup truck as Luca approaches the window in Eddie's room, which has a clear view of the street. Eddie crouching down kisses the driver. Luca makes fists out of his hands.
The devil is kissing my girl, who are you?
