Jamie kept on banging at the door effortlessly but no one came to her aid, she helplessly fell to the floor with tears in her eyes, she didn't know what else to do rather than sit and wait until the event was over. Jamie had always remembered her daughter whenever she was going through a hard time to stay strong and at this moment only Alice could bring her comfort, thinking of Alice gave her the strength to stand on her feet again no matter how hard things could be. Jamie sat there in the basement sobbing silently then she heard some footsteps walking past the aisle, she immediately started banging at the door again so to be heard and fortunately for her, the two maids heard her scream from the basement which drew them closer to the room.
"Please help me. Is anyone there? Help please"Jamie kept on screaming, the maids recognized the voice to be Jamie's.
