He revives Rai and Otto while healing the others before the enter the the third room. As soon as they set foot in the room they feel an ominous presence looming over them.
Leon: Why do all of these rooms have to be so weird when we come in?
???: So rude already and you haven't even been in here for 5 minutes.
That ominous presence was standing in the center of the room, the Gothic Hag, Agatha.
Agatha: Looks like you got your attitude from Samuel.
Wart: You know Professor Oak?
Agatha: Unfortunately yes. He was my rival back in my prime but instead of continuing to be a Pokémon trainer he decided to be a stupid researcher. He told me you all were coming to the Pokémon League and I bet a lot of money saying you wouldn't get pass the tournament. Then doubled it saying you wouldn't get passed Lorelei and Bruno. Then doubled it again saying you wouldn't get pass me. So now I can't let you through without losing all that money. Let us begin!
She throws out only 4 Pokéballs, Arbok, Weezing, Golbat, and Haunter.
Una: For a ghost specialist you sure have a lot of poison type Pokémon.
Agatha: The specifics don't really matter when you're a trainer as strong as I am.
Arbok slithers toward Una at incredible speeds and slaps her into a wall with Slam. Before Una can get up, Weezing flies toward her and uses Explosion right in her face, knocking both of them out.
Agatha: See what I mean? Now Haunter, use Curse on the Pidgeot.
At the cost of half of it's health, Haunter places a curse on Otto. Every time she tries to attack, she'll lose a quarter of her own health. She learns this the hard way as she attempts to attack Arbok with Air Slash and is faced with the recoil.
Agatha: Let's get this over with quickly so I can get my money's worth.
Otto goes to attack the Haunter thinking that doing so will lift the curse, but as she goes in for the Fly Haunter uses Destiny Bond to take Otto down with it.
Agatha: Now that I've already dealt with two of you, any of you three from Samuel's lab should suffice.
