As Leon and the others leave the gym, Rai and Una reconvene with the main group.
Leon: So now what? We're done with the gym challenge and still have about a year and a half before we the Pokémon League begins.
Wart: How about we just take a break? We haven't had time to relax at all since we started left Pallet Town.
Rai: Yeah, I know we just got back from the forest but I feel like spending more time in the place I grew up.
Otto: I feel the same way too. I haven't seen my family in a long time so I want them to know I'm okay.
Leon: Alright, a break sounds good. As long as we're not getting rusty it shouldn't hurt.
In Leon's pocket, the Pokédex begins ringing. It's a call from Professor Oak.
Oak: I heard you guys just got your final gym badge, congratulations.
Leon: We just got it a couple minutes ago, how did you know?
Oak: Anyways, since you all are close by, I have a favor to ask. Would two of you like to become my assistants? I've been needing a few more hands around the lab and figured you guys would be the best for the job.
Wart: Sure, I'll do it.
Ivy: Me too, seems like fun.
Oak: Alright thank you both so much. Come to my lab as soon as possible.
Leon: How about this, one week before the Pokémon League begins we'll meet back up at professor Oak's lab. Until then, try to train as much as possible. The Pokémon League is like nothing we've seen before.
Wart: Got it.
Ivy: Got it.
Una: Got it.
Otto: Got it.
Rai: Got it.
Otto: Leon, you're coming with me, mother and father have to see just how much you've grown.
Leon and Otto head to the Sky Kingdom, Wart and Ivy head to Oak's lab, and Rai and Una head to Viridian Forest. For the foreseeable future, these will be the homes of our heroes finally getting a break from all of their hardships.
Episode End.
