Chapter 3 - Ch3

"Hahaha!" she laughed mockingly, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "You got what you deserve."

"That's not funny." Her sarcastic laugh got on his nerves.

Now, Ethan's appearance has transformed into a fully grown woman. What was once a rugged, masculine figure now embodied the grace and elegance of a woman. Ethan's broad shoulders and strong jawline replaced by delicate curves and soft features. His chest, once defined by muscle, softens and swells, embracing the delicate curves of womanhood.

"Ha-ha-ha…..enough with the jokes. Can you please tell me how to return to my normal form?"

The pain of the transformation was intense, his chromosomes shifted and his bones rearranged themselves. The process felt like being run over by a truck and undergoing surgery without anesthetics .He endured the agony while desperately seeking answers.

"Why? Your new appearance is rather pretty, don't you think?Hahaha....." she replied, unable to suppress a hint of amusement in her voice.

Ethan gave her a moment to stop laughing, not wanting to hear any more sarcastic remarks.

"Now that you have stopped, can you answer me? How did I end up in that forest? And who are you?"

"Did you hit your head? How would I know how you got there!"

"Something like that." Ethan preferred not to reveal that he was from another world since she seemed unaware. He didn't know her well enough to share such information.

"So, what were you doing in the forest ?"he asked, redirecting the conversation.

"I was locked up in a tomb beneath that forest. I don't have all my memories , like I don't remember how I was locked up but, I do remember my name and other things. I had to abandon my body to be free, yet I couldn't go far away , because my soul was attached to my main body. I waited for a suitable vessel to come and possess it.That's when I encountered those people who were on the brink of death. But then you and your group came and took over all the bodies, interrupting my plan," she explained.

"What ' group '?" Ethan asked, honing in on her last statement.

"When I got to the wagon , everyone was already on the verge of death, and suddenly you and four other people appeared and took over them."

'Four more people teleported with me from Earth!" Ethan murmured to himself.

Ethan began to recall the events that happened to him before he moved to this world and took over this body.

'I was on the plane with my daughter Jennifer, there was a strong storm outside... The plane shook violently , Besides Jennifer and me, there were three others on the plane: the pilot, the co-pilot, and the flight attendant '

Ethan's mind raced, considering the possibility that they, too, had been transported to this world, including his beloved daughter Jennifer.

As he continued to reflect, he remembered the man who claimed to be Oliver, and then the lady whose name was similar to his daughter's.

"Since I have acquired a new form, it's plausible that the others have experienced the same fate. Perhaps that person claiming to be Oliver truly is Oliver, and that woman could very well be Jennifer!" Ethan concluded, his heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and uncertainty.

'I need to find a way to get out of here and check my theory , because if it's true, Jenny will be very terrified .'

""Hey, you... what should I call you?" Ethan inquired, suddenly realizing that he didn't know her name.

"You can call me Angelica."she revealed

Angelica, do you know what those creatures were?"

"From what I recall, they are known as Earth trolls. Although physically frail, they possess remarkable intelligence. From the serum they injected you with, I can conclude they are trying to enhance your bloodline by implanting you with the stem cells of a higher-tier being into your bone marrow."

"Enhance my bloodline?" Ethan queried, his surprise evident.

"For now, it's not crucial information. You'll learn more once we find a way out of here," Angelica reassured, prompting Ethan to abandon his line of questioning.

Ethan didn't persist in asking since she said it wasn't important.

"Well, as far as I know, stem cells can be implanted without the need for any serum. Why go through the hassle of making a serum? Can't they just inject the stem cells directly into the bone marrow?"

"Normally, that will be the case if the donor and the recipient were in the same tier and from the same race."Angelica clarified.

"What kind of complications can occur if they aren't of the same race or in the same tier?"

"In the most cases, probably death."

Confused, Ethan questioned, "Then why am I not experiencing any adverse effects? Is the serum working?"

"It isn't working, you are alive because of me and your high soul power."

Perplexed, Ethan asked, "Because of you?"

"I fused the injected stem cells with your own cells and enhanced the capabilities of your stem cells to handle the procedure." She explained.

"Why such generosity?"

"You didn't thank me, and now asking why? Isn't it obvious! I don't want to die"

Just then, they heard footsteps approaching. Realizing the need to revert to his original form.

Quickly, how do I get back to my original form?" Ethan asked urgently , he didn't know how to transform back to being a man and didn't want the trolls to see him in this form.

"Click!"

The door opened and a troll entered .

"Oh! Look what we have here," the troll remarked, licking his lips as he approached Ethan and began checking his vitals.

Fortunately, Angelica swiftly restored Ethan to his normal form before the troll entered.

"Interesting..... There are no visible side effects yet, what's different about these new test subjects? The troll said, putting his hand under his chin, pondering .

'New test subjects .' Ethan emphasized the word 'subjects.'

'Angelica.... "When you mentioned my high soul power earlier, did you sense the same from the others who were with me?"?' Ethan asked, putting Jennifer on his mind.

"Their soul power was higher than normal, but if such an operation were performed on them, there is a slight chance they would survive, but not without disabilities."
