"Make way for the champion," I boldly declared as I and Miss Dorian giggled.
The scholars who were in front of us and weren't members of the Emerald class looked confused and muttered among themselves.
It was until Rordon burst out of nowhere did they realise what I meant.
Rordon had heard my declaration and dashed out from the crowd, grabbing me from my waist and lifting me up.
I was shocked because that was very much unexpected. Rordon was happy, very happy... perhaps, even happier than me, who had won the contest.
The other members of the Emerald class present started gaining an understanding of what was going on and smiles broke out on their faces.
Many more rushed to where I was and joined Rordon in lifting me up while cheering me.
The chant of my name resonated in the hallways, all the way to where the Emerald class was.
I laughed and basked in my glory, feeling on top of this world. Well, I was.
