06:59 am
Sixty seconds passed and the time on the alarm clock turned to 7 am.
BEEP! BEEP!
The alarm rang out loud as it usually did every morning.
My eyes fluttered open and I sighed.
Here we go again but this morning, I didn't feel the need to hit the snooze button on the alarm clock.
I lay on my back, staring at my ceiling.
Was I dreaming?
I rubbed my lips with my fingers a few times and stared at them.
Was it really a dream?
Fuck! So it wasn't real at all?
None of the time I spent with Jasmine in the park was real?
I sighed again with disappointment.
I touch the side of my neck with the back of my hand. Luckily, I wasn't febrile. So, I concluded that I wasn't sick or hallucinating and that was a good sign.
However, I was pained because it had felt good honestly. The soft, warm touch of a woman felt better than I expected. I could also say the same for her kiss.
