Mingxia laid back down on the bed greatly disturbed by what he said. There was a part of her that wanted to agree to his terms, and another part, just didn't want to be tied down as a slave to someone.
Seeing she couldn't sleep, Mingxia leaves the room and walks downstairs, her legs moving stealthily not making any sound. She got in the kitchen and dipped her face under the running water, getting her face wet.
"Mingxia, what is your decision now? How can I trust he is saying the right thing? But Lixin, what if he tries to harm Lixin?" She murmured to herself.
