Waking up to the sun rays, her eyes darted towards the man sleeping soundly, her fingers tucked into his. She blinked, her eyes fixed on the man's appearance.
It was all new to her and at the same time so familiar as well. She sneezed softly, about to rub her itchy nose when she found it difficult to reach her nose...as if there was some kind of restriction preventing her from doing so.
Her hazy eyes scanned her surrondings while the beeping noise from the monitor didn't escape her good sense of hearing.
Everything felt like a nightmare to her, and more so, she didn't know who the man was.
"Water..." Suyin coughed, her dry hoarse throat screaming to be soothed by water. The man beside her woke up, his eyelids flustering tiredly open. He rubbed his cheeks, slowly feeling the pain of having someone rest on his arms all night.
