For next few minutes Alex just calmed his sister down.
" Don't worry, I'm here right? "
" Yes... sob, " Alina seemed to have calmed down, as she moved away from Alex and checked other two people with Alex.
She knew both of them.
" Hello Alina, you must know me already. Still, I'm Alex's girlfriend, Stephanie Robson, " Stephanie moved her hand forward for a handshake.
Alina narrowed her eyes as she looked back at Alex, " She is your girlfriend? "
" Yes. She is, " Alex nodded.
" You never told me, " Alina said.
" I would have told you, if you ever talked to me without glaring at me, " Alex said.
Alina was taken aback, as she heard Alex.
She realised, that Alex had no reason to tell her...
Remembering all that happened ever...
" Alex... " Given the condition she was in, Alina wanted to apologize, but didn't know how to.
If the situation wasn't like how it was now, she would have never apologized.
She even now looked down on Alex in her heart.
" You don't need to say anything, " Alex said as he turned around and went to the door to check up there.
Alina looked at Alex, who was potentially last relative of her, with complicated emotions.
The current condition made her look over at the way she treated Alex his whole life.
But, she shook her head, even if Alex was angry. What could he do?
He was so weak.
Alina snorted inwardly, but kept a good look on outside.
As a women Stella also guessed what Alina was thinking, so she decided to butt in.
" So, how did you get stuck here? "Stella asked in an unfriendly way.
" I came with my friend, but while I was busy, she went away and locked the door of the washroom from the outside, " Alina said.
" You sure have a nasty friend, makes sense with personality of yours, " Stephanie added.
" She is not my friend anymore. She was always jealous of me, but I never thought she would do something like this, " Alina said as she gritted her teeth.
She had learnt her lesson, to not make enemies in every direction.
She seemed to have calmed down a lot.
" Anyway, we need to get out of here. For that we might need to break the door, " Stella said.
" It's unneeded and the sound will attract zombies. Even if you have become strong, you can't handle the horde. Even if you are stronger than them, you will get infected, " Alex said.
Alina wondered what Alex meant by his words.
But, she had a vague guess from Alex's tone that his position in this group was top most.
" Stephanie, come here and help me climb there, " Alex ordered as he pointed at the small window which was at the top of the door.
" Isn't that way too small for even you to pass? " Stephanie asked.
" Shut up. I'll use steel rod to open the door, " Alex said as he rolled his eyes.
Stephanie nodded and picked up Alex easily.
Alina was stunned to see this.
" Throw me up, " Alex ordered.
Stephanie did so and Alex found a good footing besides the window.
He then used the small gap in the window to precisely move down the steel rod which was just barely long enough.
The door was opened up.
" Zombies are all bundled up in science lab. We'll take this chance to close onto them and kill some strays. So, that you can get stronger, " Alex said.
" Level up? " Alina asked doubtfully.
Stella explained everything to Alina patiently and she was stunned to know the secret of Stephanie's strength.
" So, I just need to kill them to grow stronger? " Alina asked.
" Yeah, " Alex nodded.
" But, Alina doesn't have any weapon, " Stella said worriedly.
" She doesn't need to... We can get something from sports section, " Alex said.
" I want to get stronger too! " Alina chimed in.
" Okay. You will have to wait till we get you a weapon, " Alex said.
" But, isn't sports section on ground floor? " Stephanie asked.
" Sigh. The ground floor now must be filled with zombies, " Alex sighed.
Zombies didn't have enough intelligence to climb stairs, until they saw living ones there.
" There must be some weapon like things on terrace, " Alina said, she wanted to get stronger quickly.
" She is right. Storage area is on terrace, " Stella added.
" Okay, then we're going to take stairs to terrace, " Alex said.
" Shouldn't we leave Alina behind? " Stephanie asked, " She is still weak and will be a burden. "
Alex looked at his step-sister, who was looking back at him hopefully.
" She won't. I'll take care of her, " Alex said making Alina feel warm.
Huh? Why am I feeling happy just because of this!?
Alina didn't have time to think more.
This time Alex opened the door of the washroom.
There were few zombies in the hallway, all of them outside the science lab.
Alex and everyone took staircases just beside the washroom.
And reached the terrace.
" ... I can't believe it... "
" This is horrible... "
Stephanie and Alina trembled at the scene of the destroyed city nearby.
Their school was little away from the normal area, so it wasn't clear here.
But, city was full of smoke and fire.
Zombies couldn't be seen from here, but they were rampant.
School was also surrounded by many zombies.
After being shocked for some time Stella and Stephanie broke the door of the storage room with their increased strength.
Due to the flowing wind no sound was heard by any zombies.
" I'm taking this steel baseball bat, " Alina happily took the baseball bat.
" Sister, you never played baseball, why are you so happy? "
" Mom, never let me saying that it will affect my image to play around, but i like baseball, " Alina said as she swung the bat.
Her posture was very professional.
Well, even though Alina was an asshole to Alex, she had taken care of herself.
She was nothing short of an absolute beauty in terms of both figure and face.
Alex sighed and also looked around, but decided to stick to his steel rod.
" You three, go lure some zombies and kill them, " He ordered to his women.
Alina as well nodded as she was excited to level up.
Alex then looked around the school for one last time, and went along with Stephanie, Stella and Alina.
He didn't help them, as Stephanie and Stella had lost their fear of zombies by now.
So, they could effectively lure zombies and kill them.
Like this the day passed.
Alex stayed on the terrace and conserved energy or procrastinated.
It seemed that the three girls had cleared many zombies.
Stephanie and Stella were each at level 10 and 11 respectively.
While Alina was level 7.
Alina's speed was quite good as well.
" Alex... I just levelled up again, " Stephanie bragged.
She embraced Alex gently, making sure her increased strength wouldn't hurt him.
Alex pecked Stephanie's lips as a reward and looked at Stella.
Stella blushed as she also went into Alex's embrace and kissed him.
" Y-You! " But, Alina was shocked.
It was one thing for Stephanie to kiss her brother, but Stella as well?
Before Alina could even think more, Alex went near her and kissed her briefly.
" Shush! Don't be so surprised. We now need to get some food, are you all hungry? " Alex asked.
" That was my first kiss!!!! " Alina yelled out.
Alex said, " That was your reward sis. Why are you acting fiesty. Even Miss Stella doesn't have any problem. "
Stella also nodded seriously, " That was just a reward. "
" You!! " Alina felt something was wrong with these people.
They soon went back to chatting.
" I'm hungry. I thought increased stats will decrease my need for food... " Stella complained.
" No. Increase in stats will rather increase your need for food. We should go to the cafeteria and stockpile some food, " Alex said. he had Portable Inventory.
" But, the floor below us is filled with zombies now... " Alina said.
" At night they won't be able to see us. We just need to make sure that we don't make any noise, " Alex said.
" Right, " Stella nodded.
Like this Alex and his party of three went down.
There were some zombies on staircases, but they lured them at the terrace and killed them.
Because of the strong wind, it was hard for other zombies to notice exact place of the sound.
So, they started wandering around.
Alex and others took the chance to get down to third floor.
They were now one floor below science lab.
There were less zombies here as all of them were lured to the fourth floor because of Alex and others.
Stephanie, Stella and Alina were very quick as they took care of all zombies here.
Alina became level 8 soon enough, but zombies who heard the noise started coming here.
Alex and everyone took the elevator right away and went to the second floor which was filled to the brim with zombies.
Alex quickly threw a bunch of chemicals he had gotten from the science lab here creating a loud noise.
Stella and Stephanie wondered where he kept these chemicals...
All zombies on ground floor started flooding here.
Alex quickly took elevator back to the third floor.
" We'll now wait until, those zombies calm down, " Alex said.
But, just as they were waiting, Alex saw the light from one of the classrooms of the opposite side.
" Are they surviors? " Stephanie asked.
" Most likely our schoolmates. Should we see them Alex? " Alina asked. In short time she had understood that her brother was the leader here and these two women won't go against him.
Alex treated her good, so she as well didn't mind it.
" Let's meet them. We can create a small force to reach till cafeteria, " Alex said.
" Are you thinking about using them as meat shield? " Stella asked.
" Yes. How did you know? " Alex accepted for Alina's shock while Stephanie just rolled her eyes.
" You even used me to save yourself, " Stella cutely complained.
" But, I healed you right? " Alex smiled.
" Yeah. That's why I forgive you, " Stella said.
" Okay. We're now going there, " Alex said as he went towards the classroom followed by everyone.
" W-What do you mean by meatshield? " Alina asked, but was ignored.
In the way, one or two zombies were easily killed off.
Alex noticed that most of the zombies wore his school uniform, seems amongst those hundred left behind most had died.
As soon as Alex knocked on the door three times, the door opened.
Inside was spacious, as all chairs and tables were arranged to the windows and in front of the door.
As soon as Alex and everyone went inside they saw 4 students. 2 males and 2 females.
Alex's eyes quickly went to females who were all younger than him.
" ... Do you have some food? Please save us, " Alex's inspection was stopped by the boy who said that.
The boy said this to Stella who was the only adult in the group.
" We as well are barely surviving, what makes you think that we can help you, " Stella sighed.
" But, we saw you killing them, " Another boy said.
" If you kill zombies, you're stats will increase. You can do the same. You just need to start, " Stephanie snorted as she saw how pathetic these boys were.
Her Alex was nothing like this, even though he was a lot weaker than these boys.
" L-Like in games? " One of the boys asked.
But, none of them replied as Alex gave the cue to leave.
" W-Wait, do you have any food? " A girl asked.
" Nope. We're going to get some food, " Stella said.
" Can you give us some? "
" Umm... What about you come with us? You might even get some kills and level up, " Stephanie said.
" O-Outside? W-We will be killed, " One of the girls who were silent till now said.
" It's on you. Those who want to come can come, others may remain, " Stella said kindly.
In the end none of those people here became ready to leave.
" Cowards, " Stephanie spat as she and everyone went out.
" This was an uneventful trip. We didn't even get some meatshields, " Stella as well sighed.... Alex's influence was already affecting her.
" Cowards can't be meatshields, " Alex said.
Stella and Stephanie wouldn't have been much different than those youngsters they just met.
They were only different because Alex had brainwashed them. Their love and affection for him was lot stronger than their fear for zombies.
That's why they were able to fight.
If Alex disappeared, they most likely will die just from fear and withdrawal symptoms.
Alex and others took the direct elevator to the first floor.
There were zombies there and they swiftly rushed towards the light of the elevator.
Everyone quickly took care of the zombies in front.
Their speed had increased by at least thrice, so they were doing good.
" Rush to the Cafeteria, " Alex said as he ran forward.
But, Stella stopped him and made him sit on her back.
" With your speed only our corpses will be there, " Stella chuckled.
Alex felt embarrassed but he knew that she was right.
He needed to get his body at least passable in human standards.
The ground was very big, under the moonlight Alex and others could see the silhouettes of zombies around.
But, as they moved without making any sounds those zombies didn't notice them.
Soon, they were in front of the cafeteria.
It wasn't locked as no one had time to pay attention to it.
Alex and party scooped through the cafeteria as they brought all edible stuff to Alex.
" Where did you get that from? Is it magic? " Stephanie asked as all food disappeared.
" Only I can do that, so don't even think about killing me and taking it, " Alex said seriously.
" I'll rather die, " Stephanie rolled her eyes at Alex's joke.
" Alex, take these, " Stella came back with some kitchen knives.
It seemed she was looking out for Alex while searching for food.
What a good waifu!
" I'll take them, " Alex stuffed all of those in his Portable Inventory which was just barely half filled with all food from the cafeteria.
" Let's sleep in the auditorium for tonight. We will clear it in next two hours if there are any zombies there, " Alex said.
Auditorium was the best place to rest as it was covered from all sides.
Also, it had sound proof. So, when Alex would fuck his women no zombies will be disturbed.
Alex didn't plan on stopping with just two women...
" W-Wait... I hear some footsteps, " Stephanie suddenly said.
Alex focused and he could feel them as well.
" They're not zombies, " Alex said, " But, ready your weapons, for if they're being chased. "
After few moments, the kitchen door opened.
The first person who entered was a blonde haired boy with hockey stick.
He was shcoked to see everyone including Alex.
Alex recognised him as someone from same year. He was from his sister's class.
" Alina! "
" Don't yell Ron, " Another whisper was heard as a beautiful mature women entered behind the boy named Ron.
" Miss Drittney, " Stella greeted.
" Miss Stella, thank God you're alive, " Miss Drittney hugged Stella as if they were long lost friends.
Behind Miss Drittney, few more people entered. They were all students and there was one old man who had a gun with him.
There were in total 6 people, including Ron, Miss Drittney, The old man and three other students.
Miss Drittney was only female in the group.
Alex's eyes shined as he looked at the gun at old man's pocket, he needed that gun to protect himself.
The old man was a security guard who was left behind.
Students who were familiar with Stephanie and Alina quickly came forward to greet them.
Stephanie and Alina were very popular. They were both beautiful and naturally graceful.
Alex sighed as no one came to him even as he was there.
Was his presence this low?
He didn't care. May be just a little bit...
" Miss Stella what level are you? " Miss Drittney asked after a hug.
Alex was disappointed seeing the scene ending.
" Level 11 , " Stella said, Alex had told her to say the truth.
" Wow! " Everyone who heard her was shocked.
" I'm also Level 11," Stephanie said as she looked at Alina with a prideful expression.
Even though she was sister of Alex, Stephanie kept feeling sense of danger from this girl.
This was women in love's intuition!
" I am level 8, " Alina said when someone asked her.
Alex of course wasn't asked.
After that everyone on other side said about themselves.
Miss Drittney was level 3, while Ron was highest with level 4.
Old man was also level 3 and three boys were around level 1 and 2.
Basically these people came here for food and were staying at the auditorium.
There were more people back in auditorium, which they had secured perfectly.
" We have taken all the food here. Let us go to the auditorium. We are ready to share it, " Stella said gently.
" Thank you, " Miss Drittney nodded.
Then everyone got out of the silent kitchen without making any sound.
Everyone was overly careful so no problem occured.
The distance between auditorium and cafeteria wasn't much, so nothing went wrong.
Miss Drittney and her group had ran towards the auditorium when the first wave of zombies appeared.
As most students ran to the school building this small group was in a safer condition.
Then, they killed zombies brilliantly and secured place for themselves.
Alex and everyone entered the auditorium, where there were 4 girls who were waiting for them.
One of them seemed to be Ron's girlfriend as she hugged him as soon as they entered.
Alex looked at other three girls and seeing that they were normal high school girls he stopped looking at them.
But, Ron's girlfriend for real wasn't bad...
