Amidst the bustling classroom, Liu Yemui's keen eyes fixated on a tumultuous altercation unfolding between two students. His gaze widened as he observed Teak-Kim, typically a reserved classmate, entangled in a physical confrontation with a stranger. This unknown figure happened to be Kang Hyun, a notorious bully recently transferred from Seoul, infamous for his ruthless behavior. His reputation preceded him, as numerous students had previously fallen victim to his cruel nature.
In the midst of the commotion, Kang's voice thundered through the room, sending shivers down the spines of those present. Liu Yemui, perplexed by the sudden violence, could only speculate that Kang sought revenge for something Teak-Kim had said or done. The classroom descended into shocked silence as the students grappled with this unexpected turn of events.
With fiery anger in his eyes, Teak-Kim retorted, "Go to hell."
The rest of the students stood in hushed disbelief, uncertain about how to react to this unfolding drama. Kang Hyun, in a fit of rage, bellowed, "You moron!" With a mighty shove, he sent Teak-Kim hurtling across the room, the impact causing searing pain to course through his body. He groaned, clutching his chest, the point of impact.
Undaunted, Teak-Kim rose to his feet, his determination evident as he extended his arm toward Kang Hyun. A menacing glare locked them in a fierce standoff. "You want a piece of me? Come and get it."
With those words, Teak-Kim charged at Kang, delivering a forceful blow to the bully's stomach, followed by a punch to his face that left Kang Hyun bewildered and disoriented. In a matter of moments, Teak-Kim had him pinned to the ground, his knee pressing into Kang's neck, cutting off his breath.
Kang Hyun's frantic struggles to break free only met resistance from Teak-Kim's unyielding grip. Eventually, with a burst of effort, Kang Hyun managed to break free, sending Teak-Kim sprawling into the next row, gasping for air as he landed awkwardly.
The entire classroom watched in disbelief as the intense fight played out before them, even Liu Yemui feeling a sense of unease at the violent confrontation. Kang Hyun, puffing up his chest, continued to glare at Teak-Kim, who lay on the ground, struggling to catch his breath.
"I'll make you pay," Kang Hyun threatened, but before he could deliver another round of blows, the classroom door burst open, revealing an unexpected newcomer. Liu Yemui had considered intervening, but this newcomer swiftly entered the scene, and it turned out to be Yi Cunyong, whose mature demeanour contrasted with the chaos.
"What on earth is happening here?" Yi Cunyong inquired.
The situation took a sudden shift as students made way for Yi Cunyong, blocking Kang Hyun's escape route. Furious, Kang shouted, "Yi Cunyong, what the hell are you doing here?"
"I overheard some commotion about you getting into it with the underdog kid," Yi Cunyong replied calmly, his tone devoid of aggression.
"Get out of my way!" Kang demanded angrily, unable to tolerate being ignored.
Yi Cunyong simply chuckled, "I'm afraid that's not happening."
Kang's expression twisted into a blend of confusion and irritation. "Yi Cunyong, you mean nothing to me. But even if you hold some authority in this class, let me warn you that the Wolf's Wrath, my local gang, will have you eliminated!" he declared, his tone thick with menace.
These words sent a shiver down Liu Yemui's spine at the mere mention of "The Wolf's Wrath." He recalled the earlier ominous warning: "We'll be back, along with the fearsome gang, The Wolf's Wrath. Be ready!" Liu Yemui came to the realization that the trio of students were part of the infamous Wolf's Wrath group.
Liu Yemui watched as Kang Hyun stormed out of the classroom and into the hallway, designed to allow students to move around freely, yet now congested due to the chaos. As he hurried toward Teak-Kim, Yi Cunyong intercepted him, demanding, "And who might you be?" Yi Cunyong's intense gaze bore into Liu Yemui.
Aware of his history of being bullied by Yi Cunyong, Liu Yemui felt a surge of anger, his teeth clenched fiercely. Yi Cunyong smiled, seemingly amused, "Looks like your friend has a temper issue, doesn't he?"
Teak-Kim, sitting on the floor, gazed up at Yi Cunyong with a hint of apprehension. "He's just a friend of mine, Liu Yemui..."
"Don't worry about him," Yi Cunyong reassured, flashing a comforting smile. Teak-Kim visibly relaxed in response.
"Hold on, did you say Liu Yemui? I've heard that name before," Yi Cunyong mused, scrutinizing Liu Yemui's appearance. "You don't look anything like him..." He paused, picturing the previous version of Liu Yemui. "He was more like a chubby pig. Oh well, forget it. Who cares about that nobody."
Liu Yemui felt a surge of intense anger, puzzled that these memories still haunted him, despite his efforts to forget. Suddenly, the Quy System intervened, reminding him,
{Dear Host, Liu Yemui, don't let anger and fear consume you. Stay calm, think rationally, and avoid fighting when others are present. We wish you the best in overcoming this situation.}
These words emboldened Liu Yemui, who strode past Yi Cunyong to help Teak-Kim to his feet before they left the scene together. A few minutes later, they encountered their classmate, Eliza, who looked surprised to see them together. "Why didn't you tell me?" she asked Liu Yemui, her gaze accusatory.
Meanwhile, Yi Cunyong walked into the hallway and approached a room where Kang Hyun and his gang of thugs were gathered, sharing a bottle of soju and laughing boisterously about the earlier altercation. Their laughter ceased as soon as Yi Cunyong entered, his gaze fixed on the group.
Yi Cunyong's eyes settled on a particularly burly thug. "You weakling thugs are really getting on my nerves," he remarked, his gaze menacing as he smiled at them.
Kang Hyun rose and strode toward Yi Cunyong. "I don't know what's gotten into you, Yi Cunyong. But even if you're trying to help, I won't appreciate it." As Kang Hyun finished speaking, Yi Cunyong swiftly delivered a punch to Kang Hyun's face, propelling him through the air and into the wall.
Placing his hands on his hips, Yi Cunyong admired his handiwork, then turned to the other thugs. "Let's go!" he commanded without hesitation.
After a brief moment, the once boisterous group of thugs lay defeated, subdued by Yi Cunyong's formidable skills.
Observing Yi Cunyong's prowess, Kang Hyun sighed, shaking his head. "You're truly something, huh? You've got some moves, brother," he acknowledged, rubbing his jaw.
Suddenly, a voice echoed in the room, "Yi Cunyong, looks like you've already taken care of them, boss." Yi Cunyong glanced toward the entrance and spotted a boy wearing a jacket that extended down to his knees, adorned with an illustration of a White Shark, a symbol of the notorious group "The White Sharks."
"Tae Ho Lee."
"Tae Ho Lee," Yi Cunyong acknowledged, his expression shifting slightly as he regarded the new arrival. Tae Ho Lee, a member of the infamous White Sharks, had a reputation that preceded him, and his mere presence indicated trouble.
"What's happening here, Yi Cunyong?" Tae Ho Lee inquired, his tone laced with controlled authority. His penetrating gaze swept across the room, taking in the scene with a calculated intensity.
Yi Cunyong stepped forward, his demeanor composed yet resolute. "Just handling some local trouble, you know how it is," he responded casually, his words belying the underlying tension in the room.
Tae Ho Lee's eyes narrowed as he surveyed the defeated figures scattered across the floor. "Seems like you've been busy," he remarked, a hint of amusement flickering across his face.
Kang Hyun, picking himself up from the ground, shot a dark look at Tae Ho Lee. "What do you want, Tae Ho Lee? This is none of your business," he growled, his voice strained with a mix of defiance and resentment.
Tae Ho Lee's smile remained intact, unfazed by Kang Hyun's hostility. "It's my business when it happens under my watch," he stated calmly, his gaze never leaving Kang Hyun's face. "You know the rules, Kang. No unnecessary disruptions."
Kang Hyun's jaw tensed, but he didn't dare challenge Tae Ho Lee further. He grumbled under his breath, his frustration palpable.
Yi Cunyong, sensing the tension, interjected, "Let's not escalate things further. We've had enough excitement for one day." He gestured toward the now subdued thugs. "I think they've learned their lesson."
Tae Ho Lee nodded, his expression inscrutable. "Very well, Yi Cunyong. But keep in mind, we can't have this kind of disturbance becoming a habit." With a final glance at the defeated group, he turned on his heel and exited the room, his presence leaving a lingering air of authority in his wake
