I slowly entered me class and hung up my car backpack on the bag hangie thingies.
Some of me classmates were sittin' at their desks, coloring or playin' with toys, while playing with markers as if they were swords.
I glanced around, spotting my best friend and cousin, Benny, sittin' at his desk, doodling. He was like Big Bro in that regard. Saf used to doodle in school, accordin' to cousin Milo. Was hard to believe, given how he was at times. But, I had seen some of his sketchbooks that proved it. If Bro hadn't become a marine knight, he could've become an artist.
"Hey, Benny!" I called out, wavin' as I plopped down in the seat next to him.
Benny looked up from his doodle.
"Hey, Sil! How are Saf and his family?"
"Good! Me niece is supa cute!"
Benny chuckled. "Of course ya would think that. Ya her uncle.'
