Uneri PoV
Naotaru hummed as we rode the train toward Kaguya. It would be several days until we got there.
Sarane gooed to his hums.
Kisara giggled as she held our daughter in her arms. "Your big bro is a good singer, huh?"
Sarane giggled and hugged her ocelot plushie, nodding.
She looked outside at the great sea of sand and hid her little face.
I frowned and looked out. There was a distant sandstorm, but it was still a good distance away. At the speed it was going, it wouldn't hit us, but there was no way a baby would know. To her it was just a big scary cloud of sand.
Kisara leaned in closer, wrapping her arms around Sarane protectively. "You know what, how about we make a game out of it? We can pretend we're brave explorers passing through a magical desert!"
"Yeah!" Naotaru shouted, bouncing in his seat, his excitement infectious. "Big sand! We find treasure!"
Sarane gooed as if confused.
