Zephyros
I panted as I swung my sword.
"Zephyr, you should really rest," Sicillia said as she watched me from a distance.
I gritted my teeth as my legs gave out. Even with the rehabilitation provided to me by the King Tabiki, my legs still weren't what they used to be. It was all the fault of that Lieutenant. Hopefully, he would appear at his best friend's wedding. That way I could kill two birds with one stone.
Sici rubbed her growing stomach. "Zephyr, when will you give up on revenge? Can't we just start a new life here?"
"I can't move on when I still have stuff to take care of. Not until I've made sure those pesky Kuroriku have paid, can I finally rest." I straightened my body and threw my sweat-covered shirt to the floor. "It's what drives me."
My wife walked up to me and hugged me from behind. "Zephyr... I'm scared. The path you're walking on is dangerous. You almost died once."
