Rose
I went to see my in-laws.
Sil was being chased by Milo's siblings.
"Hehe! Can't catch the vroom-vroom!"
"Grr!" Michiru yelled, speeding up his little legs.
Tasuku laughed as he rushed at Sil.
Sil screamed for his dear life and ran off.
Saffron smiled. "Oh, Milo."
I giggled. It could've easily been my brother too. Koyuki told me he was a playful guy and got along with kids. He had even adopted two of them. I hoped to meet my nephew and nieces one day.
"Rose, dear," my mother-in-law called from the kitchen, her voice warm and inviting. "Come help me with the tea."
I quickly excused myself from the playful spectacle in the backyard and made my way to the kitchen. My mother-in-law was busily preparing a tray of tea and snacks.
"Here, dear," she said, handing me a delicate porcelain teapot adorned with intricate floral designs. "Pour the tea into these cups."
