I sighed as I glanced out at the lake. This was the most pristine I had ever seen it. It probably had to do with Aquarina's power. She had used it to save Rose's life.
Rose, I wondered what I could do for my daughter's condition. It would eventually flare up again.
I glanced at the white sand beach. Memories of her and Orlin running around as kids flashed to mind.

"We're going to the beach, yeah! We're going to the beach, yeah!" Orlin said, dancing funny.
Matsuyukine giggled at our son's antics.
I felt a rare smile tug at my lips as I watched them.
"Come on, Orlin! We need to get ready!" I called out, my voice steady. The beach was one of our favorite places, and the thought of spending a day with my family brought a flicker of warmth to my heart.
