As I stood in the dim light of the Tower of the Depths, my thoughts consumed by the weight of legacy and responsibility, I barely noticed the soft footsteps approaching. The air was still, filled with the lingering energy of the glyphs, and I was lost in my contemplation when a familiar voice broke through my reverie.
"What are you doing in here, Kyung?" Dronma asked, her tone light but tinged with curiosity.
I turned to see her walking toward me, cradling my little red-haired daughter in her arms. The sight of her golden eyes sparkling with innocence contrasted sharply with the heavy emotions swirling in my heart. A smile crept onto my face at the sight of my family, a reminder of the joy that I wasn't actually alone anymore.
"I was just… exploring," I replied, gesturing toward the glyphs that lined the chamber. "Trying to learn more about the clan's history, especially now that I'm part of the Taiyang branch."
