Rose's POV
Anis sighed as I went to the cafeteria to get her papa a drink. The little sound was so exaggerated that I couldn't help but smile, even though I felt a twinge of concern.
I frowned. "Tuckered out?"
In response, she gooed and rubbed her belly, a gesture that was both adorable and amusing.
I chuckled. She must've learned that from watching Sil. It was one of those small quirks that made being a parent so delightful—seeing our child pick up little habits and expressions from those around her. Anis had a way of imitating the people she loved, and it warmed my heart to see her growing and learning every day.
"Alright, little one, let's see what snacks I have in my bag for you," I said, glancing down at her. "I think I have some apple slices and grapes."
Anis's eyes lit up at the mention of snacks, and she bounced in my arms, making soft, excited sounds as she waved her hands in delight.
