"This is as close to the palace as I can take you. You'll need to talk to the guards themselves to see if they'll let you in," Lotte said.
I smiled before opening the door. "Thank you very much, Charlotte."
She shook her head. "No need to thank me, just follow orders." She held her hand out, handing me a card. "Give me a call if you need me to pick you up."
I nodded and smiled. "I will!"
"Good!"
I closed my door and waved at her and the Daikiris. The three were to sell the bread we had made earlier at the market square not too far from where we currently stood.
"Bye, Mommy, Alli!" Sil said as they drove off.
"Eh?" I said, turning to see Sil standing next to me. When did he do that?
"You're not going with them?" I asked. I watched as the car continued to drive off. I'm sure they would've noticed that he was gone by now. He had just yelled bye to them.
