I finished my workout, wiping the sweat from my brow with the back of my hand. The weight of the dumbbells felt familiar and reassuring in my grip, each rep a reminder of my commitment to being strong—not just for myself but for my family and country. As I set the weights down, I took a moment to catch my breath, feeling the satisfying burn in my muscles.
After finishing my workout, I headed to my room to get cleaned up. As I entered, I caught sight of Anis sleeping peacefully, her tiny arms pressed against her chest. Her four plushies surrounded her like tiny guardians protecting their beloved tiny princess. It was a scene that filled me with warmth.
