As I stood there, the tiara pressing uncomfortably against my head, I felt a mix of anger and reluctant curiosity toward the girl who had managed to outsmart me. I was the Monkey King, a figure of legend and power, yet here I was, bound by a mere trinket given to me by a girl who claimed to be a descendant of my captors.
"What do you want from me, Mei?" I demanded, trying to regain some semblance of control in this situation. The pressure of the tiara was still there, a constant reminder of my predicament.
Mei crossed her arms, her expression shifting from one of amusement to seriousness. "I want to prepare Xian for the challenges it may face in the future. The world is always changing, and we need to be ready to protect our home and our people. With your power, we can build a stronger foundation."
