Yukito cleared his throat, shifting back into a more serious demeanor. "In the days since we last talked, we've looked into the situation with the kids. The doctors noted quicker reaction speeds, heightened senses, and other unusual abilities developing in some of them."
I listened intently, nodding as he spoke. "That aligns with what I've seen before. The abyssal goo seems to act as a catalyst, enhancing latent abilities. But we need to be cautious. Such rapid changes can be destabilizing."
Koyuki chimed in, concern evident in her voice. "That's what worries us. While some kids are managing well, others are struggling. It's like the goo amplifies everything, good and bad."
Gael added, "We've had reports of increased aggression and emotional instability in some children. It's affecting their relationships with family and friends."
