I smiled as Alli ran after Sil, who was bouncing around the garden like a little whirlwind. Sil was as hyper as ever, pretending to drive a car with his arms outstretched like a steering wheel, making vroom-vroom sounds that filled the air with infectious energy. It was delightful to watch, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the antics of my children.
Just then, I caught sight of Rose approaching from the path, her radiant smile lighting up her face. My heart swelled with warmth as she neared, carrying Anis in her arms. The sight of my daughter-in-law with her little one always brought a smile to my face.
"Hey there, Rose!" I called out, waving to them. Rose's face brightened even more as she caught my gaze.
"Hi, Mrs. Daikiri!" she replied, her voice cheerful. "I thought I'd bring Anis over for a visit. We hope we're not interrupting anything!"
