I got up early the next day to check on the roads. Just getting out of the inn was tough. Well, it would've been without my ice powers.
The snow had piled high outside the inn. I thought about using my ice magic to create a path, but I didn't want to overdo it and end up hurting someone. I would have to relocate the snow well away from the town, or at the very least, somewhere it wouldn't cause a problem.
The town itself was quiet. Everyone seemed to be hunkered down for the storm, and the few people I saw were bundled up against the cold and using their own ice powers to move around.
I walked along the main street, my boots crunching as I began to make our own path for the snowmobile. It would be a long journey to Shirayuki city, and I didn't want to get stuck in a snow drift.
Captain missed my cousin, so I decided to take it upon myself to make the road clear for us to leave.
