Anis opened her eyes and found herself in a floating space. She looked around frantically for her pa and ma, but they were nowhere in sight. The baby raised her hand to her mouth and began crying. Her pa told her she was safe. But now he was gone.
Suddenly, something appeared from the black void, a woman with deep red hair and green eyes. Her skin was pasty like someone who hadn't seen the sun. She had the same vibe as the bad feeling she felt some weeks ago. Yet, it was also different.
The baby whimpered and began to crawl away from the scary woman. She had to find her pa and ma.
Anis's heart raced as she crawled away from the woman with the deep red hair. The void around her felt cold and endless, amplifying her fear. She could still hear the echo of her father's soothing voice telling her she was safe, and she desperately wanted to believe it. But right now, safety felt far away.
