Rosemary PoV
My cousin-once-removed smiled as he finished his outmeal. He was like a bottomless pit, much like his second-cousin. He still enjoyed the oatmeal, even after Indulging in a cookie.
Setsuka chuckled as the wiped the crumbs from his checks. "There we go! All clean!"
Seb giggled. Watching them warmed my heart. These simple moments were what it meant to be a family.
Gael smiled at his son. "Looks like someone enjoyed his food."
Seb looked up out his dad with big bright eyes and exclaimed, "More cookie!" which made all of us laugh.
Setsuka sighed. "Seb."
I hummed. "Maybe later, little one."
Seb frowned.
Gael picked him up and ruffled his brown hair. "It's okay, Seb. I'll give you when she isn't looking."
"Gael," said, narrowing eyes at her husband.
Gael chuckled and rushed to the living room. Apart from Saffron's family, the rest of us giggled. My cousin sure was silly.
