I stared at my younger twin son, Osamu, who sat quietly on the play mat, his amber eyes fixed on Sebastian. The contrast between him and Azami couldn't have been more pronounced. Azami crawled around, full of energy and curiosity, while Osamu seemed to observe the world through a different lens, one that made me feel both proud and intrigued.
I couldn't help but smile as I watched Azami explore, his little hands reaching for everything in sight. But my focus shifted back to Osamu, who remained still, his expression contemplative as he watched Sebastian with an intensity that suggested he was trying to understand his cousin.
"Hey, buddy," I said, kneeling down beside him. "How about we get in on the fun?" I reached for a long plush dragon nearby, a vibrant green toy that had been a favorite of both boys.
