Rosemary PoV
After Saffron finished washing the dishes, he went to the bathroom to cool off.
I took the opportunity to read some books. It had been a while since I had a chance to sit down and relax.
"Nice read?" Saffron whispered as he stood next to me.
I nodded. "Yep."
"Want to talk about it?"
"Not right now. Just let me finish this chapter."
"Okay, then."
I frowned, feeling a bit selfish for ignoring him like this. "Sorry, I just haven't had time to read in a while."
He laughed slightly. "I understand. I haven't read a book in a long time either."
"Well, why don't we take some time and read together?"
"That sounds nice."
We both grabbed a book and started reading.
The day passed until there was crying. We both stood up.
Someone knocked on the door.
Saffron opened the door. Dahlia stood outside with Anis in her arms and her kids flanking her.
