Rose PoV-
I woke up and saw Saf shielding our daughter with his arm. Little Anis had her tiny hands stretched out as she slept peacefully.
Saffron opened his eyes and smiled faintly at me. "Morning."
My face heated up, a warm blush spreading across my cheeks. "Morning," I replied softly.
Anis opened her eyes too and let out a coo, her little voice filling the room with sweetness.
I giggled and rubbed her little belly. "Morning, Baby."
Saffron stretched and sat up slowly, careful not to disturb Anis. "I was thinking," he said, his voice still soft from sleep, "I should finish making that crib for Anis. I started it before... you know."
I nodded, remembering the unfinished crib that had been waiting in our workshop for over seven months. "That would be wonderful, Saf. She's growing so fast; she'll need her own space soon."
