I shot a beam at the incoming Kasai no Ki soldiers as we pressed out advantage. For months, both sides had been at a stalemate, but we were finally starting to break it.
The Kasai no Ki soldiers flew off in various directions as we hit their ship. The aerial soldiers attacked with fireballs as they retreated further into their country.
"Don't think that you'll get away!" I muttered as I shot another beam, this time directly overhead. In midair, the beam splintered into small lasers which curved toward the airborne Kasai no Ki.
They gasped as the beams further broke up into more beams, creating energy cages around them as they closed in.
Their eyes widened as the energy cages hit them,
The Kasai no Ki soldiers gasped as the energy cages hit them, imprisoning them in midair. Their fireballs fizzled out, the purple light from the cages casting eerie shadows across the battlefield.
